Not sure if this has been covered... but because this is a 200+ page thread I'm just going to throw this out there in case it helps, FWIW.

When I bought my eRoll I was warned to be careful not to lose the tiny runner band between the top (where the atty attaches) and the cartridge. Losing this could very easily cause a leak. I only remove the top when I'm cleaning the cartridge out, and refill with a syringe.

I was also told that the hole in the top would eventually wear from being pulled off and pushed back onto the atty. Once it loses its ability to seal properly, toss the cartridge.

So far I've had no real leaking issues, but I do have to wipe a little bit of condensation off of the outside of the cartridge when I pull it out to refill. It's not ejuice because it's completely clear, even when I'm using a dark-colored ejuice.

Also, I was told to leave an air bubble rather than filling the cartridge completely. I don't remember the reason, something about the atty working more efficiently...?

ok I have tried 7 different tanks, no real difference. 7 different atomizers with same result. The only thing that has worked is sealing the joint between the cone and the battery with scotch tap(good grief). That eliminated 99% of the problem.
I have a question for non leakers. When you change tanks do you notice a far amount of liquid on the tank? If I pull my tank out even a little and reinsert it, I notice liquid on the cone where it meets the tank.

On another note a PCC i bought recently from wordup had cutouts in the case along the edges of either side of the cone, to prevent the case from wicking liquids in those spots.

As for the post above i have 4 month old atties, and i overfill.

Good to know. :) I've been filling mine just a bit more each time I refill, testing the limits. I think my next refill I'll just fill it nearly to the top and see what happens. I empty it too quickly, it'd be nice to fill more at a time.

The vapor left in your tank area and cone are pg/vg, its still eliquid basically in texture. It collects in mine, and that tends to leak out a tiny bit.

Ok, well.. I think calling it condensate is a bit misleading to other users, though. It's eliquid, regardless of whether or not it came from vapor in the tank, and it does leak out in a thin line.

I love this thing, but honestly, I call that a leak. Like I said.. it bothers me little, but, it's there.

I notice the condensation on the inside of the tube (cone, whatever that thing's called) and on the outside of the cartridge. Not excessive though, I just wipe them with a paper towel.

Wait.. what runner band? Something on the cone? Maybe they changed something here...?

Exactly. The plastic does flex as it gets heat. The tanks are more disposable than people tend to think, IMHO. On mine, when the liquid starts leaking away from the reservoir (e.g., in the mouth piece or around the reservoir), I toss it.

You should leave room for the atty spike because well, it has to go somewhere. If the tank is totally full, that fluid will displace to somewhere -- the atty generally, or inside the cone.

It's a teeny little rubber band, it's on the top of the cartridge, the top that you take off to refill the cartridge if you're not using a syringe or needle-tip bottle. I can take a pic if you'd like, but it wouldn't be until I get to my PC. I'm on my phone now.

Not saying you're wrong, but.. I've been through about 30 tanks now and they all do this if I leave the PCC closed with the eRoll in it for > 30 min. Some worse than others.

Yes, I could have gotten a bad batch since I bought most of them around the same time. But it does mean there is some variability in quality control here.

I leave mine in the pcc case all the time if not actively vaping. Looking in the case there is a very minimal amount of moisture on close inspection in the groove where the cart meets the tube. I would not classify that as leaking in my case. More likely saliva as I vape this thing between my teeth with no hands most ofetn, and don't wipe it off very often.

I get more moisture forming on my RBA than from these, so I would be be hard pressed to describe these as leaking. I would bet if I used a cartomizer all day and stored it in a similar case, it would be no better.

If that is the amount of "leaking" we are talking about then I would say good luck finding something that doesn't do it the same or worse.

What I call leaking is like with my stardusts. They allow liquid to seep out of the connector onto the batter post. After 5 minutes of vaping, take the stardust off and look at the connector and there are visible drops of liquid.

Nah it doesn't leak onto the battery post. It just forms a line from where the tank meets the cone downward. The length of the line is proportional to how long I leave it in the PCC closed.

Next time it happens I'll take a picture if I remember to. It's actually quite strange -- it really is a thin line running down the thing from where it meets the cover of the PCC. I assume heat from charging the battery is prompting the liquid to migrate toward the cover, but not really sure.

No worries, I see it. I've just never disassembled a tank from that end since I fill on the other end with a syringe or a ucan. Nonetheless, mine have never leaked from there anyway.

Maybe charging is causing the devise to run.
Because there is no expulsion of vapor it collects in the cone. The fitting on the tank to cone is tight so nothing can escape. The fitting of the cone to the battery has a gape and this is where the liquid escapes. I am probably talking out my rear at this point, reaching for straws to come up with a solution. I think I will just have to live with fact I have use scotch tape to seal the joint of the cone and the battery.

Not talking out your rear -- I think this is right. Perhaps pulling the tank off and refitting it before placing it in the PCC will fix it, so as to off-gas it before it's contained and heated up again. Of course that will weaken the tank even faster, but they're cheap enough IMHO that if this is bothering you enough, it's worth it.

It doesn't bother me enough to tape it together (I just wipe it off if it has been in the PCC for a bit), but if it does bother you, I'm sure we can figure something out together :)

Are you sure you have the cone completely seated and turned/locked? I don't see a gap between the battery and cone on mine. Obviously there is a line where they meet up, but nothing I would describe as a gap?

I just unlocked mine and when unlocked there is a gap and immediately there was a bit of moisture around the gap.

The case itself causes the vapor to wick out, newer PCCs should have a notch out there so that doesnt happen. Its a known flaw. It is just the condensation that has collected inside though, not the tank leaking. If in a pocket its not a noticeable amount

It's very noticeable to me. It soaks the PCC if I leave it closed say overnight for charging. It's been fine if I don't close it, though.

I think maybe your experience with it wasn't as bad as mine and others. If they changed the PCC, that's fine. I'll order a new one :)
