Can someone convince me to buy a UCan, please? I guess I just don't understand why it is any better than carrying a needle-topped bottle of my favorite juice. In fact, it seems like yet another step in the filling process... bottle to UCan to tank.. instead of just bottle to tank.

It actually shouldn't be hard to convince me, I also want to get a white eRoll battery/tank setup, but can't convince myself it's worth the shipping charge unless I add another item.
Lol Red! Too funny. OK, let me see.... The U-Can is really sturdy, no accidental leaking is going to happen. It can't be crushed and the needletip top thingy can't accidentally pop off like on a plastic bottle.

You can hang it on your keying and it can be tossed around all day without a worry. Also, since you can put it on your keying, there will be no hunting for your misplaced bottle of ejuice when out and about.

Also, it's kind of cool. We have driptips for $45, fancy handblown and decorated glass tanks, charms, hand made stone tips and tank ends, designer skins, fancy cases, lanyards etc. .... and other expensive accessories for our vaping - now we finally have an accessory for our juice too. Hehe....

I like that it's stainless steel. I think that keeps the juice tastier than plastic. I like that you can either drip or flow the juice. I've never liked having a needle and in case I ever do get pulled over by the police, I would rather show them the UCan than a needle tipped bottle. There is absolutely no leaking with it and it works to fill tiny tanks or great big ones. I carry a small leather pencil case with two twists, two e-Rolls and the Ucan and it all fits perfectly. My bottles, which are all 30 ml, won't fit in that case.

Oh, and it's shiny. :)

I have been using my new eroll and it's tiny, fun, novel and a joy to have. It's not a vaping machine and I like the concept. I do have a ucan and hadn't gotten around to trying it but the little plastic juice holder for the eroll has a hole that won't accept a drip. It just blobs over so now I really need the ucan because no way am I going to load my little plastic juice holde in the ecig with a syringe and needle thing thingy. I'm not shy about things but I don't like people doing their thing about my thing so the ucan is not so suggestive of illicit whatever's and people's imaginations. A couple times my eroll sayed on and on which was resolved by using my top and start twisting the cover off which stopped things. Haven't noticed if this was talked about already. Also I have found I feel like I'm using an ashtray when I get involved with something, like typing this post, I pop in the charger rather than laying it down. So forward with the little guys to attract new vapers. My bigger toys are still best needless to say. 1/2 ml a fill isnt going to cut it for real vaping. This is another thing but fun too

for me the u can is great. I had issues with needle topped bottles that leaked..or dripped. I did not trust the "cap" to stay on in my purse or pocket, so I carried a standard dripper bottle and needed to take the end caps off of my tanks to refill..sticky fingers..lol. It was just plain messy. plastic bottles can also wear down (I had a 10ml crack from repeated compression). The ucan is not a necessity. But I do find it to be a much "cleaner" alternative....

edit..lol..did not see the "DONE" :D

Hello everyone!!
Another friend I work with bought an eRoll and Ucan and also ordered juice. She had been "trying my eRoll out," every time we were out together and finally had to buy one and get off the smokes! She's a noobie and for her starting out vaping style, she wants it to approximate smoking- She didn't like my assortment of Reo's... LOL. Anyway, she ended up buying from iVape.net and got an extra sleeve too- and a Ucan.. He has the sleeves on his site now!!

Interesting about the eRoll- since it looks so much like an e-cig- (well, it is), I have had several people ask me which gas station I got mine at. Many smokers have bought at least the disposable ones at gas station/convenient stores. When I tell them that I can replace the liquid and am not dependent on the cartridges that are sold to replenish them and then show them the charger, they seem to get it!! Seems that this industry will just get better and better and I am encouraged after what I saw took place at the FDA hearings this past week!!

Work is finally finished (I work as a school psych for the local school system) for the holidays, so I'm very happy.... But last few days have been so hectic with work and work-related Christmas (oh hell- we aren't allowed to say that...HOLIDAY then... LOL) events that I have not been on here. And wow, 14 pages now. I have invited vendors that sell the eRoll to check this thread out- maybe we can get some competition between them and they can offer up some deals for this community??

So, when I finally got back on the ECF last night late, a few things I realized:
1. The world didn't end yesterday!! Yay!! I suppose the French are disappointed...well, some of them.
2. I began vaping 2 years ago Thursday (12/20/10), which means I've been cigarette free for 2 years now
3. I still reach for my eRoll quite often!! I use my Reo's when I'm driving or sitting about at home but when I'm out at a bar, the eRoll is what I tend to use.

Got my eRoll kit in today from Goode Juice. I got a white kit, with extra atty cover, a pack of attys, and a pack of black cartridges. The black cartridges look really nice with the white eRoll, as I suspected.

I've seen vids and read this thread, but didn't realize just how small the cartridges were. They can hold such a small amount of liquid.

One of my cigs doesn't hit as well as the other - it has my most annoying pet peeve of not firing unless you suck on it really hard. Unsure why, I'm using two different liquids, attys, etc. So it may be related to one of the components.

Overall, I REALLY like the eRoll.

you can use your own e-juice for all of them. the eroll is short, it has a nice finish that feels like cigarette paper (ive heard) and its very light. The eroll is regulated at 3.7v rather than being an unregulated e-cig. So until your battery dies, you'll be vaping at 3.7 volts, instead of the voltage dropping as your battery drains. The eroll also comes with a personal charging case that will charge it while its in your pocket. SO with the big battery of the charging case, your eroll wont die while out and about. Its smaller than most other e-cigs, its shorter than most other e-cigs, and its light enough to hold between your lips without drooping.

what is the difference between the other small battery ecigs and the eroll besides using your own ejuice?
As far as I'm concerned the only difference is the Personal Charging Case.
But that is really a major difference, and the one thing that makes all the difference.

The key to they whole thing for me is that you can charge your battery without having to take the unit apart.
And the other great thing about it is that the PCC is very small and thin and fits in your pocket better than any other.

Those two things make it highly portable, convenient, and easy to use.

Same with my kit, i ordered a couple more batts from vapor geek i thinkkkk, 9 bucks each. I put the one that hits like crap in the box and use the 3 good ones. Although i would mention you should get some atties and check that too, i did get a bad atty as well, and it just didnt hit as well. Thats now sitting in the bad batt. I can only imagine how horrible that thing is, im sure i could dissuade anyone from purchasing an eroll by letting them try that one in particular lol. Its been 2 weeks almost since ive vaped anything, not planning on quitting but this bronchitis makes it really uncomfortable =( Im guessing by the time i get back to it, that 18mg is going to still feel really harsh!

Its not regulated, and it starts over 4v. Mine goes from 4.2 to 3.7 in about 15-20 puffs, then tapers very slowly to about 3.3 where it shuts off. I counted like 55 or 56 puffs when i first got it until it blinked out on me.

Alrighty, I've read every single post in this thread (whew!) and I am about to pull the trigger on a eroll. Just the idea of having a small back-up device is really enough, but I just love the concept of a tiny pv with a tank system. Plus, it give me an excuse to buy a ucan! Now I just have to go through the mind-numbing process of figuring out what color to buy...

The cones and batteries are pretty cheap, so you could be like me and buy a kit, an extra cone for that kit, and then two batteries and cones in the other color. That way you have four complete units to switch out and you won't have to numb your mind. :)

Heretik has a good idea. I am still trying to decide whether or not to buy an all white kit (mine is black) or just get extra everything except PCC in white. Personally I think white e-cigs in a black case, or vice versa would be the most pleasing to the eye.

Also: Free idea to joyetech in case they're listening! Secondary charging station inside the flip, where you can stand the e-cig in vertically while the case is open. Would feel more like an ash tray, it would be pretty sweet.

Edit: Quick question, don't know why I can't find one now when I could before, but anyone know of a US supplier that sells both eRoll stuff individually (batteries, cone) and the U-Can?
