These things with a steel wick is nearly unbeatable. I used 325 mesh and it works on my bobbas with no dry hits. Eroll with steel wick is amazing, and its very simple mod to do. If you like your eroll now you will love it with a steel wick.
It sure doesn't sound simple.
:)

Is there a video?

Basically all I did was take the needle part off by gently prying it up and off, then I rinsed off the atomizer in hot tap water and blew it dry. I then placed the atomizer back on the battery by itself and then gently blew through the tip (gold part where the contacts are) and did that several times. When I finally was satisfied with how it looked I put it all back together with new wick. My dry burn process may look kinda silly (especially if the wife came down at that exact moment I was doing that :) ) but seems to work quite well.

Check post 409 guys :)

I mentioned in a previous post that my eRoll had leaked the other day...

I have decided, at least for now, that it was because it had been sitting, unused for three days, with a half full tank attached.
Last night I used that same tank for a few hours without any leaking.

Moral of the story?

From now on I am not letting this thing sit for long periods without putting an empty tank on it.
So that would be if I am not using it for awhile, like days, and maybe even overnight.

Noticed a little seepage when mine is low too. When its full its not leaking. I think the manual says it needs the liquid to keep surface tension or something like that.......

I've noticed that when I don't use it for a while, like overnight, the juice sometimes seems to "dissapear". Think I'll start taking the tank out at night.

This may very well fall under the heading of "don't try this at home" for many people...
And it mall fall under the heading of "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn" for all of the rest of the people, but...

I just accomplished something I would have thought impossible that will make this eRoll much more practical for me.

A little background first...

My top priority is simplicity, and everything else is a distant second.
If something is even the slightest bit of hassle for me, I'll do something else instead.

That's why I generally drip...
And that's why I won't tolerate leaks...

So if I have to use a syringe to fill these tanks, then I'm only going to use the eRoll when I am forced to, which won't be very often.
As it stands I have been using only two flavors in my eRoll because I happen to have small sample bottles of those flavors with very small tips.

Unfortunately, even with the very small tips on these bottles, it was still a challenge, and sometimes a mess.

That wasn't going to cut it for the long haul, so I tried something different...
Rather than putting the tip inside the tank to fill I tried dripping into the tank hole from above.
And of course, that didn't work too well, since the drop tended to just plop onto the top of the tank and cover the hole.

Then I learned the secret!

If I dripped those tiny drops on the edge of the tank hole, rather than aiming for the middle, it worked!
So while filling these tanks became easy for me, I was resigned to the idea of only using these two flavors when using my eRoll.

But today I decided I wanted to use my eRolls tonight, and I wanted Buttery Nipple and that was that!

But my Buttery Nipple bottle has a much bigger tip, and hence produces much bigger drops...
I had very little confidence that it would work, but I tried it anyway...

And now I have a tank full of Buttery Nipple for tonight!
Now I have to decide which of my other 30 flavors I want for the other tank.
:)

To shed a little more light on the drop sizes we are talking about here...
--It took 20 drops from my Halo sample bottles to fill a tank
--It took 9 drops from the Buttery Nipple bottle to fill a tank

Lol you could open the tank to fill it, just this once, and treat yourself to some crunch berry! I've found the same trick works but still prefer to open it bc it's faster, and doesn't seem to affect the durability of the clip since I've done this many times. Anyways Joye says the opening for the atomizer will wear down & expand eventually (probably leading to leaks) so I'm not expecting these to last forever and figure they can handle the extra wear & tear.

Anyhow go on and enjoy, then you can resolve to stop for the next year! Merry Xmas!
