It sure doesn't sound simple. These things with a steel wick is nearly unbeatable. I used 325 mesh and it works on my bobbas with no dry hits. Eroll with steel wick is amazing, and its very simple mod to do. If you like your eroll now you will love it with a steel wick.
Basically all I did was take the needle part off by gently prying it up and off, then I rinsed off the atomizer in hot tap water and blew it dry. I then placed the atomizer back on the battery by itself and then gently blew through the tip (gold part where the contacts are) and did that several times. When I finally was satisfied with how it looked I put it all back together with new wick. My dry burn process may look kinda silly (especially if the wife came down at that exact moment I was doing that) but seems to work quite well.
I managed to take apart the atomizer and dry burn/clean it. While I was at it I replaced the little vertical wick with a SS one and its performing better than ever. I think if I can clean it often enough then I won't need to replace the atomizer as often......

I mentioned in a previous post that my eRoll had leaked the other day...
I have decided, at least for now, that it was because it had been sitting, unused for three days, with a half full tank attached.
Last night I used that same tank for a few hours without any leaking.
Moral of the story?
From now on I am not letting this thing sit for long periods without putting an empty tank on it.
So that would be if I am not using it for awhile, like days, and maybe even overnight.
