Well most issues are user error, which also includes inherant atomizer problems. Or still understanding how it works.. There's only a few that seem to have a legitamate problem, that could be related to the spring loaded pin.

I have no problem just the ti temp running about 80- 100 over actual temp, but its just a number, it still works great.

The only two version complaints are ti coefficient and the mi nimum wattage of 30w wich isn't an issue its designed to be a heavy hitter

My eVic VT stopped working yesterday. Even with a full charge, it now simply says "Battery Low" on the screen whenever I fire it. If I plug it in, it indicates that it's charging; however, the second I unplug the charging cable -- even after 10 hours of charging -- it gives me the Battery Low message when I fire it. The screen shows an approximately 90% charge when it's unplugged, but that's now constantly changing (moving back and forth), as well.

This sucks. :(

Is this the first total failure we've heard of?

I spoke with the owner of the local shop that sold it to me, and he has agreed to replace it since it's been less than 30 days (22 to be exact). It definitely ruined my buzz yesterday, though! :(
Glad to hear. It sounds like a lipo failure. I have a lipo pack that went out in a similar fashion.... Charges and says full, till you put any load on it.

There goes the neighborhood... Lol but seriously...

Bummer man, what ohms does it read? Can you fire it without an atty and get no atomizer message?

Before you charged it did you run it to battery low message and get locked out.. The lock out function sounds like it could be stuck. You can try powering off, plug in and then power on, see if you get anything?

It still reads the resistance perfectly with all of my atty's; and yes, it still says "No Atomizer" if I try to fire it without an atty.

It started happening randomly in the middle of the day yesterday with a pretty full charge. I just tried what you suggested, but no luck.

Every now and then -- like 1 try every 20 -- it actually fires normally. The rest of the times it shows the Battery Low message. Weird.

I've heard of only one other VT failing. No power on.

My VT works flawless except for the Ti temp being off. I've seen it read .19 ohms on my build but I can't get it to lock there. It locks at .20 every time even if I'm sitting in the lock atty menu when I screw the atty on. Presumably this is caused by the board throwing enough voltage at the atty to heat it up a little during res check.

My VT works flawless except for the Ti temp being off, or is it? I've seen it read .19 ohms on my build but I can't get it to lock there. It locks at .20 every time even if I'm sitting in the lock atty menu when I screw the atty on. Presumably this is caused by the board throwing enough voltage at the atty to heat it up a little during res check. That extra locked .10 ohms higher than actual atty res would cause the temp setting to have to be adjusted higher than normal, yes? I wasn't sure, so I tested the theory by locking in a warm atty at .21 ohms. I had to set the temp to 450° instead of 530° to get the same vape temp. That's a 80° difference right there. Can't really say conclusively that the excessive voltage applied during res check is causing all of Ti temp inaccuracies but I suspect it is contributing greatly to the problem.
I've learned you get a better resistance check if you turn the mod off before attaching the atty

now this the first time i hear "Battery Low" issue. It could be connector problem, if juice flow in and stick to either the positive or the negative connector this msg will show out and it would not fire. same issue with my vapor flask clone. I have to open up the top cap, clean all the screw and the top cap (that's the negative connector) than it work good but it will happen again if juice get it again.

my vt works great, just that some time i'm lazy to wait for the mod cold down to room temperature before i change atty hahaha..some how it still work great i just have to change the temperature setting only.

I don't know first hand, but from the pics I've seen, yes, just those top screws
The tinkerer in me REALLY wants to open it up and try to clean it out; but, since the shop has agreed to replace it tomorrow, I should probably leave it alone...

must... resist... tinkering!!1
