Hmmmmm am I reading the specs right on this assumption...
  • Kanger's ni200 OCC coils are 0.15ohm
  • eVic VT Resistance Range: 0.2Ω for CL-Ni Head; 0.4Ω for CL-Ti Head

So am I right to assume that you cant use the Kanger on it??? If anyone has tried let us know...
Hmmm, that would suck. Oh well if not as I have 19 occs on hand anyway lol.

My guess is that the correct temp control resistance range is 0.05 to 1 ohm. The DNA40 is 0.1 ohm, the SX mini is 0.06 ohm and the IPV4 is 0.1 ohm. It doesn't make sense that the lowest temp control resistance it will accept is 0.2 ohm. That would be a pretty large coil and that would preclude the Subtank, Atlantis and Nautilus coils that all are 0.15 ohm.

I was going to wait for the battery only to come out, but I weakened and placed an order today for the full kit from MVS. Got shipment notification and will receive tomorrow. Ended up getting the white one. I've also got the white Subox coming in eventually and I think the white Subtank Mini will look awesome on this, once I replace the o-rings with blue ones.

Not really crazy about the eGo One tanks, but I'll try it out until I use up the nickel and titanium coils.

Well, the vendor is located about 60-65 miles from me. I had purchased a Coolfire 4 from them yesterday and got it in the mail today.
You lucky sob lol. I'm in Illinois, they're in Washington. Oh well it'll make the wait more exciting...I guess. Let us know how you like it!

I purchased it from MVS. They're in NYC, I live an hour outside of NYC. So I wouldn't expect it to take more than a day to get to me. Although the last time I ordered something that was shipped to me from NYC, the seller sent it first class mail and it took two weeks to get to me.

I absolutely HATE the eGo One tanks. They're so difficult to fill, and almost impossible to see when it's empty. And my friend's eGo One tank leaks all the time. That's why I bought her a couple of Subtank Nano's and told her to just throw away the eGo One tank. Looking at the review video of the eGo One Mega tank that comes with the evic-VT, it looks like the gap to fill up the tank with juice is much wider and it appears that it might be easier to see the juice level. So we will see whether I like using the tank or whether it goes in the junk pile.

NYC is closer, I should've checked them out, oh well! Anyway, yeah I have 2 subtank minis and a nano but will try this tank to check out the temp control. Not expecting much, just a bonus. If I like it, awesome! I never use my genitank anymore, so if it is better than that I'll be happy. I'm obsessed with subtanks, I think they are amazing.

Completely in the clear, and not only that those are the resistances their coils are made at. Will work just like any other TC device on the market, if you've had one or used before.

You should get the nickel coil OCC for the Subtank. They have the Vaporshark labeled brand and Kanger started making them as well. They're 0.15 ohm and they work great. They last forever. I vape pretty sweet VG-heavy juices and while I don't vape on the same tank all day long (I have 5 different tanks that I rotate on throughout the day) and I'll go through easily 40-45 ml before I switch out the coils. I started using nickel OCC's in the Subtank the second week of April (about 7 weeks ago) and I just swapped out the first coil a week and a half ago (so that first coil lasted me over 5 weeks). And I'm not switching out the coil because it starts tasting like crap or vapor production drops. Fasttech charges less than $11 for a pack of 5.

I know man, my issue is I still have 3 other mods, and when I start a using those nickel coils, well, those mods are basically useless. I may grab a pack and dedicate one subtank to my new evic or something. I also literally have 9 .5 occs, and 10 on the way from fasttech lol. And I use maybe 1 a week chain vaping. Things last forever!

I'm using the Atlantis coils and I'm right there with ya. But at the same time 3fvape has a variant of these coils for far cheaper the VS's. Then again I wouldn't trust anything like that unless it was made from Aspire or Kanger in which case.

See, I've been stocking up on TC mods...Vaporshark rDNA40, SX Mini M Class, the IPV4 and now the evic-VT. The only non TC mods that I currently have is the IPV Mini 2 and the MVP Pro 3. I was using the iSub G that came with the MVP Pro 3 on it, but I just set it aside for good. While the coils are cheap, they only last me a few days before I get consistent burnt hits with it. So my rotation is now down to 4 tanks, 2 Subtank Minis (one with a nickel coil, one without), Atlantis v1 (with a 1 ohm coil trying those out since I just got them) and Atlantis v2 (with a nickel coil). I'm waiting for the colored Subtanks to become available and I'm going to get a couple more of those and use them as TC tanks.

Well boom, you're in a better tc comfort zone than me right now lol. I have a couple isticks and an mvp 3.
