I had added a pack of each Ni and Ti when I made my order. I'm gonna have to live with those Ni heads, maybe. Unless I can convert my wife from cigs to vaping it might be up decent to use or to tootle puff. In which case, if I can convert her, wouldn't be to bad of choice to start her on.... hopefully o_O.
Cool! I'll just wait and see before I get any coils for it. I just ordered some nickel coils for my subtanks, I shattered my subtank glass this morning so wanted a couple replacements and figured I'd grab a pack of the coils. It'll be a long time before I get them....fasttech.

Yes - I saw it mentioned in a video review and thought it was kind of funny. I think it was the VapeNW review. (don't watch if you get seasick - the camera work is...uhg).

Cool! I got it from them for a lot less than he said it was. I'm really happy with my purchase and haven't even gotten it yet!

another question for you guys. This will be my second mod and I was always told to stay away from internal batteries, so what will happen when this battery runs out of juice? is there any way to replace it with a new one or it'll become a good looking paperweight? if so, how long is the battery life supposed to be? thanks

They last a long time man. By the time the battery loses juice, you'll want a new mod anyway, or you'll be able to find this one for dirt cheap. There's always a way to replace, but unless you want to risk taking it apart and attempting, it's a paper weight. I'd imagine you won't need to worry for at least like 8 months, probably a year. That's a guess though. I haven't had a mod where the batteries crapped out yet. I prefer internal for convenience, and that awesome mah.

With this you don't have to worry about batteries anymore. Most lipos can retain up to 90% of performance after 500 charge cycles. Well over a year maybe two and still be good.

Gosh I'm so close to ordering this before it sells out at these prices..
Dude if you don't, you're going to see it for $80, continue reading about it, and kick yourself in the balls. But I'm the guy with 4 perfectly fine mods and 20 unopened 30ml juices. But you know....priorities and stuff.

***?
3fvape wont send one of these to UK....?!?!!?

That's because Totally Wicked (Joyetech UK) have the distribution rights - won't stop other vendors in the UK from importing them from Chinese wholesalers.
Of course it's pretty much guaranteed that no UK vendor will charge as little as 3f though...

Thanks for the info. Frankly Joyetech and TW can go and F themselves. One less buyer (as If they will give a crap)...

Never liked TW - tacky branding and the crap that went down with UKV (although I'm not a fan of the general attitude on the UKV) their pricing has always been pretty horrible too.
it sucks. I could get the device for ~55 or so from 3Fvape and it is goimng to cost probably £60 from them even when you can get it without their crappy atty with tootl-puff coil heads, whenever that will be...jeez...

immediately after asking about the battery life I realize that probably after 6 months there will be another hot mod around with some new/better technology. So why worry, I got it for $54, that's nothing compared to the $200 I've spent in my other (45 days old) mod.
Just need to think a really good excuse to justify this to my wife. I'll take any advice in this matter as I'm running out of credible stories about how much I need to buy vape toys.

I personally win contests or just don't even mention it, maybe she won't notice.

    You found it? :D
And then you felt so guilty that someone else had lost theirs that you donated money to __________. (insert name of where you bought it from here)

So I've come across what might be a bug with the mod or it is a shortcoming of Joyetech's design. I am using nickel coils in my Subtank Mini. Coil is at room temperature, I put the tank onto the mod. The resistance reads at 0.15 ohms. I go into the menu and lock the resistance. Vape away and everything is hunky dory. Set the mod down and walk away for a little while. Come back to it and when I fire the mod up, the resistance now shows as 0.13 ohms. The problem with this is since the temp control is based on the change in resistance, if the coil is being measured as 0.13 ohms when it really should be 0.15 ohms, the temp control algorithm can be fooled and the temp protection kicks in earlier than it should, thereby dropping the power earlier than necessary. So now I have cranked up the temp limit a little higher (to 480 degrees) to compensate for this. Earlier today, the mod was detecting my coil as 0.12 ohms, which really threw off the temp protection. It was kicking on pretty much as soon as I hit the fire button and it was limiting the power below 10 watts.

I put the same tank and coil onto my rDNA40 and it correctly detected the coil as 0.15 ohms and it never dropped.
