I'm going to pass on the tank as well although its still bouncing around on my noggin. I have a Silo Beast on order so I think I fulfilled my quota for a new tank to utilize anyways. But on a different note I've been trying to get back into RTAs as my skill is total noob lol. Guess keep plugging away at it.

personally the Tank is definitely not for me if & when i get one it will be for the Device only.......i'm sorta leery now about any-more pre-orders so i just might wait until they are in-stock
There is that too, the racing yellow would look funky on anything else I own.

I've got the same concerns about the tank. I'm going to order one (can not mention this) , but can't decide if I want the matching tank. I'm not a fill and vape guy, I've been rebuilding since almost the beginning... Well once I graduated from clearo type stuff like Protank and Evods. ;) and have used kayfun's, taifun, squape, etc ever since.

Any comments on the ego one tank? (I'm guessing it's not for me though)

I'm going to pick up the tank along with the rebuildable KA1 & Ti heads. It's cheap enough.

ETA: The rebuildable heads have "juice flow control". All the non-rebuildables do not. I have seen complaints about heavier e-liquid not feeding well through the small holes in the non-rebuildables.

Well, between veritas, magma, clt and lemo 2, i still like my ego one (standard size though, can't comment on the mega yet). Should be even better with rebuildable heads, once i get them.

Good find Shigura! Thanks for posting. I really like what I'm seeing in this first look video. Seems like this might be a very good mod. I'm looking forward to seeing how they have done the power modulation on this device and a little more info on how temp control is done. But it sure seems like a lot of mod for the price.

Hopefully I'll be find out around mid to late June just how this thing does what it does. But the only thing thats got me scratching me head is how "apparently" won't let you drop down past 30w or so while in any TC mode. Plus its lauded as 60w device but only pushes that in Ni or Ti mode, then 50w for kanthal? Weird I'm not sweating it honestly but it will be different!

The DNA40 only allows 40watts for initial firing (non adjustable) so I don't see 30watts as an issue at all. It is just preheating to get the coil to temp quick. Once it reaches temp it isn't going to be firing anywhere near 30watts on a typical build I think, so using 30 or above for preheat will probably work out great. I do like that this preheat power level can be set allowing fine tuning of the initial power level for a variety of builds and vaping characteristics. There's a good chance anything below 30watts would take too long to reach set temp and that's why they chose that as a minimum. It will be interesting to see how it works when it gets into users hands.

Thats what I was thinking just throwing off what I'm used to. Have been using dna 40 exclusively so I don't go above 30w on any of my builds. Still looking forward to that racing yellow coat, huzzah!

I wish they had a choice of black with no stripes, just a bit more stealthy. But it won't keep me from buying and I'll probably just get a wrap for it. I just like non-flashy mods but not a big deal really.

I have 3 TC mods right now and my order of preference based on performance is 1) SXMini M Class 2) IPV4 3)rDNA40. I'm hoping the VT will be the new #1 and based on what early information we have it might just get there. Small form factor, 5000Mah, Ni and Ti, low price all make this a really good entry point for this mod and if it performs to expectations control wise I think it has a very chance of creating a new TC favorite for many. Too early to speculate, they need to be tested in the wild by normal users first but I'm very much looking forward to the release.

You could always spray it with plastidip ;-)
I knew that term was going surface one of these days. But I would honestly recommend against it since the device is regulated. As such I'm pretty sure it would void any warranty if the dip managed to get inside if by mistake. Honestly I would wait it out and see if they release any other silicone covers.

Would be more sound and much cheaper. Don't get me wrong I don't have anything against plastidipping but I know it would be rather expensive. Unless you are able to do it yourself and which case do what you will.
