Yep. Same height, same thickness, 1/4 inch wider.
The tank is ok, nothing really great to write home about. I think I need to play around with the settings some more to find my sweet spot. Right now I have it set down to 480 degrees and 46 watts. I had originally had it set to 500 degrees and 50 watts, but if I take a really long hit, I start to get the beginnings of a burnt hit. The vapor production and flavor is not as good as the Subtank Mini on the rDNA40 at 450 degrees and 35 watts.
The coils has really small wick holes. They're as small as the one on the Nautilus coils. I don't think this will handle heavy VG juices well (I'm currently using a 60VG/40PG juice in it).

Just received my cool black version. It came with a full charge, so I am taking this to work.
The button has a bit of play, but not rattle. The control toggle is firm, and the button itself has a nice tactile click to it. The painted surface is more grippy than the iStick50W, so there isn't much need for the silicon sleeve. I am using the sleeve for work tonight anyway
It is heftier than the iStick 50W, but still easy to hold. With an Aqua V2 clone on it, the vape is smoother than the iStick 50W at the same wattage and a tad more powerful. The screen is a dream -- easy to read, bright and clear.
I have to leave for work in a few minutes, but so far I am impressed.

so guys, how is the temp control doing? ya know, compared to the standard cast (DNA 40, YIHI SX350J/330V4S). I think that the YIHI boards are significantly better than the DNA 40's. However, I'm always open to the idea of something even better.
Actually in my experience, the rDNA40's temp control works the best. I can set the temp higher and don't get any dry hits. With the SX350J, I do start getting dry hits if I take a longer hits. With the SX330, I was consistently getting dry hits even after 3 or 4 seconds.
With the rDNA40 I have the temp set at 450 and 40 watts and even set at 500,the vape gets much warmer, but no burnt taste even if I take a 8-10 second vape.
With the SX Mini, I have to set it at 400 degrees and 40 joules. If I set it at 450, then after 5 or 6 seconds the juice starts to taste burnt.
With the IPV4, I have it set at 400 degrees and have to set the joules to 30 joules. If I set it to 40 joules, I get burnt hits after 3 second.
With the evic-vt I think the performance falls in between the two. I currently have it set to 440 degrees and 37 watts.

Thank you, they seem to be almost the same size. Could you also comment on differences in vaping experience between the two?
Pity about the holes on the heads - I use pure VG so it sounds like these will be a no go.
Is there an RBA head for this atty?

Oh my god I'm jealous lol. I can't wait to see the yellow in person. Need to finish off my tanks and throw my black orings on.
I think the dry hit issue I was getting is because of the tank and the minuscule wick holes on the coil. I just tried vaping it with my Subtank Mini with the nickel coil and it vapes great. Set at 440 degrees, 37 watts, the mod automatically picked up the coil as 0.16 ohms. I took an extra long hit, the wattage dropped down to fluctuate between 17 and 20 watts when the temp protection kicked in and no burnt taste at all. It performed identical to what I am getting on the rDNA40. I'm getting more and more impressed with this mod. Add in the fact that you have a 5000 mah battery I don't think I would have any problem in vaping this thing all day long. With the rDNA40, if I just bring it alone with me, I can kill the battery in easily 5 or 6 hours. Luckily the zip charging allows me to fully charge it in about an hour and a half.
The only thing I don't like about this thing is when I click the fire button three times to go into the menu and then switch to adjust the wattage, I can only adjust the wattage up. If I want to lower the wattage, I have to adjust it up all the way to 60 watts, and then it starts back at 30 watts.
You do, its just that it has to round robin and won't let you go backwards to adjust wattage.
VapeNW I ordered from, got the kit for $70. So either $75 with shipping, or add something for $5 for free shipping. I threw in a few packs of orings to qualify for free shipping, and paid the same price I would've anyway. Someone else here ordered from My Vapor Store, both great vendors I've used both.
That is the kind of tips I love to hear. I wouldn't think of adding $5 bucks on parts to get the free shipping, way too many brainy thinking involved there. I would just pay the $70 plus the $5 shipping and be smiling about the great deal I made.
