Hey guys I haven't been following this thread so sorry to jump in with a random question. Since the ni200 coils apparently have issues I've chosen to just hold off on them. But I'd like a good solid subohm tank comparable to a subtank that uses nickle coils. Something with great flavor, vapor, and NO LEAKS. Any recommendations? I just want one good tank for this evic where I can use the temp control. This ego mega tank is absolutely terrible imo. Well, something that can use premade nickel coils and premade regular subohm coils.

The Ni200 coils are working fine. Mine on 3 separate sub tanks are working fine. Settles in at .12 ohm and vaping like a champ from 420-600*

Use the RBA from the Kanger SubTank and build your own nickel coils. If you do it right, there won't be a problem.

SMOK TCT is a good option for $24 bucks and has massive vapor and good flavor. Haven't had a issue with the coils yet
I wouldn't mind trying that one, but however I was completely underwhelmed by the GCT. Or at least the GCT coils were garbage imo. Oh also there is the Subverter as seen on Focalecig as well @DanJiblets .

I second this. TCT tank is great. Best pre-made Ni200 coils I've used to date. Tank is $23.75 and a 5-pack of coils is $12.95 at Sweet Vapes.

You can also use the normal VCT Pro coils in the TCT.

Thanks guys I'll check those out, especially the TCT for that price. @workman70 you must be a lucky one! I have nothing but amazing things to say about subtanks, but I've heard very mixed reactions on the nickel coils regarding consistency of ohms etc...that's kind of a big deal when using temp, glad they're working alright for you!

I been looking at that one also..
Looks decent but I've heard nothing about it besides the occasional review. However if I was in the market for a new tank. I would pick a Subtank or maybe the TCT. But I'm still waiting on my Silo Beast to ship out. Ordered a segatank RBA head for it and some grade 1 Ti wire. Now for the damn tank to show up....

The new RBA deck that has the bigger holes is about to come out for the Subtank that could be a winner there.

I still want a yellow Subtank. I bought the white Evic and black as well so looks like the yellow one will need a Subtank friend since the black and white Subtanks will look good on the other 2
I'm beginning to be skeptical as to whether the white Subtank will look good with the white VT. The VT is a diamond white, with the sparkles in it, while the white Subtank I believe is just a pure white. The problem is if the whites are two different shades, it will be very obvious. I actually quite like the look of the standard silver Subtank, but with the blue o-rings. The shade of blue in the o-rings is a nice match to the shade of blue in the stripes.

A basic 2S lipo in an rc car is rated at 30C. 30 x 5000mah = 150amps. These are not those lipos lol.
Don't think anyone claimed these ones are.... Just that they are better then the imr's someone was talking about replacing them with.....my variant however, those are 30c rc car batteries, I get my replacements from a local rc car shop :p

Is PWM that big of a deal? I get the sound issues, but how do they vape compared to a flat dc-dc device? IMO it doesn't bother me if it is PWM or DC-DC as long as the temp is maintained (somewhat) and it vapes. Sorry if I sound grouchy... Just curious if it is really that important.
