I felt I had to dial back to 50/50 with the .6 ohm coil. I started with 70/30 and it just felt like the draw was way too tight and I was afraid of getting dry hits. At 50/50 it worked really well and that coil lasted me for well over a month until I got new coils.
I got mine yesterday, but I haven't tried it out yet.
Really undecided on which coil will be best for me, so I ordered another cartridge. Figured I can do a side by side comparison of the .6 vs .25. before purchase extras of either. From this tread and the reviews I've read, it really seems to be a personal taste choice that each user has to make. MVS has the cartridges cheap.

I found there to be a very marked difference in the 2 coils. The .6 is definitely MTL and the .25 is perfect for DL. There is a LOT more cotton in the .6 ohm coil so I think that's why the draw is so tight. I think it's a great idea to compare the 2 coils side by side!

I agree with you! These two coils .25Ω DL is very airy- my favorite!
The .6Ω MTL is a much tighter draw- hubby's favorite!
Hubby burned out the 1st coil the .25Ω pretty quickly, he didn't watch the liquid level, user error!
he has been using the .6Ω for many weeks now and I think the flavor is really good and No burnt flavor either! Long lasting coil and that one is still from the original kit!
I went and ordered him 2 packs of the .6Ω as those are his favorites and I am still trying to get him to quit cigarettes completely! He only likes Grape MBV 30/70 pg/vg liquid, and it sure tastes like grape to me!
I think the flavor is good! Next I need to order some spare tanks. Since he is using this daily I need to make sure he has enough supplies!
For me the 0.25 coil has massive amount of vapor. Ok flavor and vape is warm. Not for MTL.
The 0.6 coil has good vapor. Better flavor and a cool vape. I wouldn't say it's a MTL coil. I cover the air hole with tape to make it a more MTL device.
Wow it sounds like he and I got the same kit! I did exactly the same thing with my first .25 coil! Same experience with the .6, too, lol. I am definitely a DL vaper and I just love the .25 coil. This one is still going strong after almost a month! Good luck to your hubby in making the transition. My son just quit the stinkies and I am going to go see him on Thursday and he asked me for a setup. I am taking a couple of different ones with me but I really think he would love the Penguin with the .6 coil. If he takes mine I am definitely going to have to get another, lol! I just got my replacement cartridge kit today and it has a .6 ohm coil in it so if I HAVE to I can set him up with that and order him a box of .6 coils. Whatever it takes to help him get off the cancer sticks!!
MBV grape is soooooo good. I used to order from them all the time when they were local but I haven't done so in a while. I may just need to place an order!

No, hubby has been a dual user for almost 3 years, using the eleaf mini and GS air tank, I was the one who decided to quit with ecigs and dragged him into it! He just loves his cigarettes too, no matter what I've tried, and I have many mods and tanks!
He wishes that there was a cigarette flavor eliquid too, there isn't, I wasted so much money on him, but has been vaping that MBV Grape forever, I have so many different eliquids too, but only likes the Grape, fine with me.
I was glad to finally see him get excited about a device- my Penguin! That's OK, I love my trusty Nebox!
I have had that thing for over a year, was out gardening when it started to rain a few weeks ago, forgetting my Nebox till the next day! Brought it in the house and it fired up a few days later after making sure it was completely dry and still works perfectly(lucky I put it battery vent hole side down outside)!
Wow, that's amazing about the Nebox! That would be a particularly handy feature to have in my neck of the woods. It rains fairly often here in the Pacific Northwest.
I have never left a mod out in the rain but I did run over a tank once! It feel out of my car and I didn't notice it until I saw the poor thing lying in a puddle all cracked and broken. Fortunately only the glass was affected, though. That was one of my Atlantis tanks I used to love so much. Put in a new glass and coil (after thoroughly cleaning the parts, of course!) and it worked perfectly after that.
Yes hubby's Penguin is still using the .6Ω coil from the kit and still tastes pretty good, I always check it out for him and make sure the liquid is filled up! I am like you, I like the .25Ω coil better! I can't believe the amount of vapor that comes out of that Penguin, impressive!
Glad you were able to save your Atlantis tank- hubby used to break his GSair tanks quite often, and you can't replace that glass, I probably have at least 4 of those tanks in our stock!

Hey guys, my Penguin ended up not taking a charge from the port after a week with no dropping, tampering, or misuse of liquid involved. I'm about to go through the warranty process to see how this works out.

My hubby is pretty rough with his and white was not a good color for him, but no Black in stock when I won this, takes it everyday to his work site and has been using this since May 8th.

Yes the new ones are really pretty! I like that little accent curve they added to it, too. Apparently these new ones are even lighter than the original!
It's going to be a tough decision-purple or orange? (Or is that gold)??
