YES , thanks it will /can cause a dam and I'm going to remove that video because of what I been finding out. FLUFFING the existing wicking DOES seem to help the best. I'm still at the conclusion that it's the pressure differentials causing the wicking to halt.
Theoretically if you poked a hole in the top of the
juice tank and allowed atmospheric pressure in, the coil will start wicking better
BUT it wouldn't stop wicking until all the chambers were equalized , the coil would flood,
SO DON'T EVER DO THAT

that's laughable
Again don't do this , the coil sure will start wicking fine , trouble is it won't stop wicking until all things equalize.
