The j-tank and vapomatic match up well what i've been digging very much on my provari's is the 3.5ml DC cartos 2.5ohm these are great on the vari at 4.8-5v no replacing cartos clear tubes so you can see your juice.

If my juice flavoring was compatible, I'd probably still be using the MAP tanks. It isn't - the polycarbonate tubes break down with some types of flavoring - so I've switched to cartos, but I'm keeping my eye out for when the iAtty comes back in stock, and also checking out another tank that uses a pyrex (glass) tube instead of plastic.

Although I've now tried the regular stuffed cartos, and I have to admit I'm pretty hooked on them. I get more flavor and vapor out of them, without the dry wicking I got (tank or not) with the CE2 style cartos.

The Liquinator looks sweet but QC problems and horrid customer service make me pass on them. Jonboyusmc's tanks are awesome and so are Jonah's from Vapor-Age. Jonah is about to release his Depth Charge Tanks. If they're built as well as his Torpedo Tanks, they'll be worth looking at. I'm modding my old Map Tanks to use Boge Carto's. I've also added a fill port on them. I understand that the Depth Charge may have a fill port as well. So nice and easy to fill!

That fill port is awesome- how did you do it, I can't see what the screw grab onto...my only problem with tanks is filling it ;(

You're gonna hate me for this but I don't know the size of drill or screw I used. I bought a really small SS screw at Ace. It was a bit too long so I cut it down with a dremel to about 4mm. There are probably about 5 threads left on it so it screws on or off with a few turns. I used an old tube I had and experimented drilling holes of various sizes until I found one that the screw screwed into perfectly. It screws in tight. I've unscrewed it several times and it seems to work flawlessly. I'll try to find out exactly what size drill bit and screw I used and post it.

Edit: The drill bit is 3/32". I'd like to find screws that are the same diameter as what I bought but shorter so I don't have to cut them. It's a pain cutting SS screws!
Second edit: The screws are size 4-40 x 1/4. I cut them down to about 1/8".

double trouble; textured black... is that the non or the shiny black? ... wow
I have an iatty on mine (unbelievable amounts of vapor) and am waiting for a some Genesis mods from Germany, got a proto Notcig tank coming... and ... and... i guess that's it.
I think tanks are ideal for the Vari btw... set it and forget it pretty much.
- although imo the Vari is "the VV" ... with all the goodies, I'll never stop dripping and i like to change up voltages as the juice diminishes and back again when full... so i use another dial VV for that.

I wonder if the whole in the tank will eventually strip-
It might, but hasn't so far. I added the size of the screws above. When you screw in the screw it self taps the tube. Screws in and out pretty smoothly. The tubes are available pre-cut here Spare Torpedo Tubes for only $3.00 so I keep a few extra's on hand. Once you have the screw, it only takes a minute to drill a hole in the tube.

Hello all, just bought a provari yesterday on the classi s. Was looking through the threads to get ideas on what to use with it. Those 3.5ml DC's sound pretty hassle free and good amount of capacity. Regular LR DC is too warm for me, how's the heat given off by the 2.5's ? I am guessing it would be about the same as a normal SR carto. Looking forward to using the new device. Have been using a go-go with 3.5 ml capacity cartos and it probably will remain my out and about device, don't want to get the pretty new Provari scratched. So I am looking for the most flavor with the Provari. I signed up for notification on the iatty today also.
