I use AW IMR high drain 18650 2000 mah's only. I use them because of the high AMP discharge rate.

I set my jugg up with 400 mesh 28ga 7 wrap and i love it lots of vapor and th. What battery do you guys use in 18650 mode because my efest nipple top won't fit? I ordered some 18650 flat top pannys i hope they fit.

On another note, do any of you feel like there may be a slightl loss of voltage in the device? I have the same coil/wick setup in my Jugg as I do my other 3 hybrids (the orion, ihybrid and mac) and I feel like I'm having to swap the battery out sooner. Well, I am. It's not because I'm running the battery down faster either.

Maybe I can measure this with my multimeter later tonight.

I kind of felt this too. Not huge but noticeable. I will do a multimeter test as well and report back!

I'm thinking, if anything is the culprit, it would more than likely be the switch. Maybe some magnets instead of the spring?

Yeah that sounds about right. I tend to prefer the spring over the magnets in nearly every setup I have. The throw is so easy on this though that it might work for me.

Sorry. I wasnt trying to come of condescending. You have said yourself it doesnt fit. Yet my AWs fit. Is efest not measuring to the end of the nipple when aw does? Theres something aloof here.

Try the flat top efest breal they should fit no prob like a mm shorter I believe. I use AW IMR in everything they just seem to give out more voltage in my experience. even .5v is a big deal in an unregulated imo.

no problem my fault i didn't know that the efest 18650 unprotected imr is longer than the aw 18650 unprotected imr.

Did some multimeter testing and I was wrong. Infact, the voltage delivery on the Jugg is slightly better than my other hybrids, even my Orion. HOWEVER. I was partly right about the switch. When you press the switch in the center, with a "normal" amount of pressure the voltage was much lower than if you really pressed the switch in hard and even pressed it in a way that was pushing the switch in and sideways at the same time. Used a fully charged 18650 AW IMR 2000mah

First test
Battery at 4.19v
Normal press 3.34v
Hard press 3.78v

Second Test
Battery 4.17v
Normal press 3.45v
Hard press 3.76v

Third Test
Battery 4.17v
Normal press 3.65v
Hard press 3.79v

Orion
Battery 4.17v
Electric Switch 3.68v
Two tests presented the same results.


So anyways, it seems that the voltage can fluctuate from press to press, and depending on how you press the switch in, maybe giving the illusion after a period of time that maybe it is time to change the battery? I don't know. What do you guys think?

Small hands?

I like to knuckle, which gives the normal press. If I use the tip of my middle finger I get the hard press. I like to switch it up. No wonder I'm getting different vapes each time. Sometimes I like to be a posh vapist, using the pinky. Ok, that's enough of that.

On another note. I noticed that the airhole is lines up more so with the bottom of the wick. So I made a new coil; kinda of backwards from the orion, whose airhole lines up more so on the top of the wick. I have a leader coming down from the top and my coil wrapped down low. So far I'm getting bigger vape clouds, same taste. Still testing.
