Been vaping for about a month now, I have my favorite juice all nailed down but my #2 choice (Cold Turkey silly peach, nic 6mg) just throws me into a hacking fit every time I vape it. I love the flavour but just can't seem to vape it as I just about cough up a lung from it. Has anyone else ever experienced this with a nic level your used to but the flavour or what not just chokes you up?

Instead of dumping the flavor altogether, you could try ordering a smaller bottle with a higher pg percentage or try lowering the nic. I'm by no means an expert, but if vg controls the vapor, more vapor might potentially choke you up anx thus getting like a 70/30 pg/vg blend might remedy the situation. However, Nicotine and PG control the throat hit and that could also cause you to get choked up. Lowering the nic should lower the overall throat hit if that happens to be what is causing it.

Hello,
Have you read about the proper way to inhale the ejuice? Found in the new members forum(in the stickies, I think). Sometimes new vapers experience this when making a switch from the stinkies. Try just holding the vapor in your mouth and then exhale it without the inhale. You still get the nic and the flavor since most of the nic is absorbed by the mouth and nose.

Good luck.

The mix on almost all the Cold Turkey juices is 70/30 vg/pg, I use these juices almost exclusively as they are produced locally to me and have a great reputation. As I stated the nic is at 6mg so going lower would mean 0 nic, I am going to bin it but its a shame because I love the peach flavour. It's almost like the sweetness catches me in the throat as the throat hit is very minimal with this flavour.

No worries there, I lung inhale no issues with other flavours on my mech mod with a dripper :)

Well, only a suggestion. Shame you love the flavor and can't seem to use it. Maybe it is the combo of pg/vg that is causing it? Or is it pg only? That also adds a bit of a throat hit.

:)

Have you tried letting it sit for a few days with the cap off, worth a try?

Not yet. I'm not sure I really want to go through all that hassle and re wicking just to try to make it work. I just wanted to see if others have experienced this with a certain flavour, I will just move to another.
