hi there

New to this so you can understand why the question is basic :)

I'm unsing a Liquinator now but the same thing happened when I used my MAP tank, my juice gets really dark and thick after a while, is that normal ? I'm using Elixir Liquids, Rage and Moose juice are clear but get dark too, other dar juices get even darker and really thick after a couple of hours.

vaping becomes a little less nicer when that happens. What should I do ? I don't like to throw1-2ml of juice becomes it has become thick, I'm not cheap just don't like being wasteful.

Should I get a new carto and set the one I'm using aside and when I have a few clean them all ?

Thanks in advance :vapor:

Hi puntadigital, welcome to ECF! I see this with clear dual-coil cartos (my only clear devices to this point). I do not notice any thickening, just the bottom of the carto has darker stuff. Pure nic is crystal clear, but can oxidize with exposure to the air. Even if we do not leave the lid off the bottle, we are giving it air when we take a draw. I tend to just keep topping the carto off for a few days, so the gunk gets darker.

The flavorings all can change color with heat and exposure to air also. I am able to clean the carto's filler back to bright white using Vapian's Cartomizerfillenator. It is very cheap and works well for cleaning as well as filling.

I will be getting a Liquinator this week, what are your impressions so far?

You might try putting less in them on re-fill. One of the reasons I put up with dripping is because I like the fresh taste better and anytime you use a carto, it's going to cook the juice a little. A couple of things that can evaporate some is alcohol and water. Sometimes the flavorings are alcohol based and sometimes water is added to thin the mix, so it depends on what went into them to start with.

I suggest giving the ce2s a try for dripping. Rip out all the top plugs, tilt it and drip down the side of the ceramic. Drip 15 or 20 drops, pop on a drip tip and it tastes just like an atty. The down side is you can't lay your pv on it's side or it will leak. At around 9 dollars for a five pack of shorties, expense isn't that bad.

Will check your suggestions folks and see what happens.

On the Liquinator, I'd say go for it, I bought a MAP tank, came to me failed, I fixed 2 o 3 days later but by that time my Liquinator showed up, so used the MAP for a couple of days, wasted 5mls of juice or so with the tank coming apart from the carto, but since then I've being using my Liquinator with no incidents so far and I like it. Also bought a Revolution v2.0 at sale for 30 bucks, modded it a little and is what I've been using, rotating both devices.

EDIT: Just noticed a crack on the interior of the Liquinator tank, is a shame because I have not dropped it or hit with anything and is just 4 days old, gonna have to buy a spare tank
