Are certain devices known for using up more juice than others?

B/c I know I'm vaping a lot (pretty much constantly), but I really didn't think I was going through this much juice before.
Not that I know exactly how much I was/am - I've been switching up batteries, cartos, flavors too much to keep track, but I was guessing about 5ml max before.

Note that all my stuff is 808 threaded. In the past month I've collected 2 KR8, 3 Echos, 3 Ego batts (I seriously need an intervention, its ridiculous!). I've got standard cartos for each device, but tend to 'mix and match' between them a lot.

Anyway, this past week I've gone through a 50ml bottle of my most-vaped juice absurdly fast. I think I've been primarily using the Ego batt/carto for that juice. I also tried a clearo for the first time last night (so actually had a precise measurement), and woah, I went through 1.6ml quick.

Is it unavoidable that the bigger ecigs use more juice? Is it all of them or just some? And why do they in the first place?

My iclear 30 sucks down the juice. The double wicks don't help, but I love that thing.

Definitely. I can get through a day on about 1ml with one tank, and ill go through 3-4ml with some of my others setups. Oddly enough im not inclined to care, and will use whatever device i feel i would enjoy most at the moment. Sometimes ill use 1 setup for days, other times all my setups in 1 day. I feel like im way too into this, i was never into analogs like this. At least its a cheap hobby, well, compared to my others =)

Yes. Way to in to it. Cheap? Not so far! Hobby? maybe. I think of it as a healthy vice.Me, I just have to have a vice to feed my dark side I guess

years ago, I never understood why people bought 30ml bottles at a time. I was happy with my 510 attys and carts, 510 batts and eventually an ego. I usually bought a few 6ml or occasionally a couple 10ml bottles a month Flash forward to the present, I find myself, buying several 30mls+ at a time just to feed my AC9. I usually go thru 6 or so mls a day. I had to lower my nic considerably because of it.

mini vivi nova's are the worst juice hogs in existence. Mine eat 5ml of juice in a matter of hours.

Some devices do burn liquid quicker, lower resistance coils etc, but u can get a balance by lowering wattage etc, I'll assume this also depends on how much one enjoys a good Vape. I've found that I can use my 3.5 mil nova and fill it once a day, which is average by the way, but if I used my ego c exclusively I might use only 2-3 mil, so it's pretty close for me.

I have found certain tanks just suck the juice fast, kinda shockingly fast on some, that and the fact that I'm running devices more and more over the old standard of 3.7v.

I don't mind going thru it as long as I'm getting the right results with flavor, consistency and production. From a price perspective I'm way ahead on savings if I compare the monthly juice purchases to the cartons of analogs I use to buy.

My iClear 30 : if I use 7W about 3-6 ml a day, if I use 9W about 6-9 ml a day...
About the same with my T3...

The older I get then better I use to be...

Yup,price-wise there is indeed no contest.

And yes,some are juice hogs period (Genesis).

Also,the more/bigger the wicks,the more juice gets absorbed by it at a diff. rate depending on the nature of the juice you use.

When I rebuild my Kayfuns even if I top them up to the brim with juice,after a minute or two half a mill is missing (wick did its job)...understandably,there must be a good 4-6 in of braided wick in there

Ok, another silly question maybe...So is it the batteries OR the cartos/clearos/tanks OR some combination that affects the amount of juice usage?

Batteries won't have an effect unless you're adjusting the voltage. It's due mostly to particular behavior of the delivery systems.

My AGA-Ts when setup with SS mesh go through about 3 ml/day which is much higher than anything else I've got.

Replaced one's mesh with ceramic & the consumption rate halved, but my vaping hasn't slowed nor is it's performance lacking. Not a change I expected but definitely not one I'm upset about.

Fortunately juice is cheap, especially if you have stockpiled it, and DIY now. Doesn't really matter to me how much I go through as long as I don't smoke.

I don't think your battery's are the issue, it's what you set your device vv/vw at and the type of cardo/clearo/tank you are using.

I mean take a Kanger T3 and run it at 3.7v and at 4.8v on the same device and you will get different outcomes with juice consumption.

My REO really goes through the juice, and having a handy 6ml bottle on board to just squonk makes me not realize how fast I'm vaping it up. I will say, it creates clouds of vapor and is very enjoyable so I'm all for it. Even if I buy a couple bottles of my favorite juice a week and some cartos/attys it's still cheaper than analogs were.
