Nice website, very well done! I have tried 4 of these and agreed with your reviews. With that being said, I intend to try about 4 more based on your reviews. It is costly trying different flavors. The first vendor I tried was a complete flop for me and it is a wonder that I continued. The second and fourth vendors were great and the third just so-so. This will save so many people time, money and frustration. Thank you! Great job!

Not sure if I'm getting the poached pear or not, but he's supposed to have shipped my samples today. Really nice guy...Can't wait to taste his juice and get some Pharmboy reviews posted.
Speaking of nice guys, the Pluid review is almost finished. All the tasting is done, and a rough draft has been written. The wording needs a bit of fine tuning, but I expect to have it posted by tomorrow evening at the latest, along with the first review from DeejStuff, another great vendor to deal with.
And I have just finished reading all of your reviews, and I can finally say great, great job! Whatever your take on the Pluid, I'll respect that since you really are in a class of your own when it comes to juice reviews... I just hope you'll have more "mainstream" juices up soon - a lot of the ones you have I've never heard of before...

Thanks Elfstone! I appreciate you reading through all of them, and I don't really think you'll be let down by my Pluid review, but that's all I can disclose at the moment.
Just out of curiosity, who do you consider to be more mainstream...I'm sure I know who most of them are, and have probably already attempted contact at least once, but I'd like to hear your opinion since I already hold it in fairly high regard.
Many of the more recent reviews are from newer companies since they're a result of vendor submissions, and newer companies are more likely to take the risk of a bad review for the potential reward a good review could bring them. So while you may not be familiar with them, some of those vendors are totally worth a shot. I regularly send emails to larger, more established vendors asking if they'd like to submit their juice for reviews, but with many of the big guys, the emails simply go unanswered. The real solution here is twofold...Firstly, I need some of the major players to be willing to submit juice. Secondly, I need to bring in more revenue to re-invest, thru ads and paypal donations, so that I can afford to buy the juice myself when my email efforts prove futile.
Now, onto the review you spoke of...Had this particular vendor called their juice "cough drop" or something similar to the black cherry halls flavor you mentioned it would have fared a bit better, you'll notice the only points they lost were in accuracy of flavor, in that it's not really cherry, more medicine-y than anything else, and it's clearly menthol, not "ice", but not only do I see your point, I agree with you in that I might have chosen my words more carefully...that was one of the first five reviews I wrote, and I was still acquiring my voice so to speak. Still, I stand by the review and most importantly the phrase "If cherry cough drops, and particularly Sucrets, are your thing, you may really enjoy this one."

Pluid wasn't for me. I can't do absinthe for more than 5 minutes.... just don't react well to inhaling it, but it is a good flavor.
I can totally understand your reaction to the Pluid JenerationX. It is some seriously potent stuff. I was hoping to get the review posted this evening, but things just keep coming up, and the review is not quite finished yet...just some minor editing to finish up, so maybe tonight maybe tomorrow.
If you could squeeze some AVE and BackWoods Brew juices in there some time to review.

AVE has been on the list for awhile...they are one of the vendors who declined to submit samples for review. A very kind reader donated the funds to purchase some of their juice as well as some from another vendor using my paypal "Pay it Forward". I have been patiently waiting, since that time, for an opportunity to purchase both Boba's and Gorilla juice, but due to AVE's supply problems during their move, the opportunity has yet to present itself. I heard both Gorilla and Boba's were in stock briefly yesterday, but unfortunately I wasn't in front of the computer at the time and missed the chance. Thew other juice that person requested, Gandalf from HHV, is steeping as we speak, and very close to being ready.
BWB was contacted awhile back, but I never heard back from them at all. Thanks for mentioning them tho, they'll receive another email on Monday AM regarding submitting samples. Should they decline or simply ignore the request, it will have to wait until I get caught up on the backlog or another reader decides to make a donation to cover the cost of the samples.

I play a little bit of everything, but my instrument of choice is acoustic guitar. I like to play Dead, Phish, Allman Bros, and the like, as well as some newer jambands like Big Wu, moe., raq, and some other things that have no business being played on an acoustic guitar, but since the website was launched, my guitar has been very, very lonely.
