Interesting atty discussion. For me it's all about flavor, which is what led me to the Zenesis in the first place. I can and have dripped onto my wick and coil, but it's not the most convenient dripping set up because it was intended for use as a tank. I may look into attys one of these days..... if I can find the patience to drip a few drops at a time.

Talk to Andyman and Andrew, they have awesome SS mesh rebuildable dripping attys. Perfect for us spoiled by the high end hybrids. =)

It was really great! Thank you so much for putting me in touch with Deej. Such a nice guy, making some really great juice, from what I've tasted so far. I really appreciate it CES, please let me know if there is anything I can do to return the favor!

Ha! I actually read that last part as "return the flavor".

Really just wanted to say thanks for this fantastic resource. Thank you for taking the time (and money) to put this together chefjosh. Outstanding.

Loved your post about your attys and set up. Never tried anything vapage, but I may have to give them a whirl now. So with that being said, if money wasn't an object and u could get as many free attys as u needed, what would u use? ( I know I know, I am a lil pot stirrer aren't I? Lol ;). )

That is indeed, a very tough question, and not one I'm sure I can answer. I love the Vapage AMG so I imagine I'd want to start with those and make some small adjustments. But again, I'd need to try the HHs and the AVAs for a while to gauge their pros and cons as well.

I do know that my perfect atty would come in at 2.5 ohms like the AMGs. Any higher and it wouldn't leave me enough room to really push the wattage. I'd also like it to be made using the lowest gauge Kanthal possible to still attain that resistance, meaning it would be made with lots of coils, thus greater surface area and more vapor. I'd also love a built-in adjustable airflow mechanism of some sort.

I guess what I'm really getting at is that I don't think my perfect atty exists, I'd have to build it from the ground up, but as far as performance goes, I'm very happy with what I have now and I think this is as close as I'm going to get, for the time being anyhow.

Yeah when I first started, I hated the hassle of dripping constantly, and did the whole searching for something different...thus the whole tea bag/blue foam business, and then cartos, clearos, RBAs (which I like, but not for reviewing), and now back to dripping. At this point, it's more of a ritual than a hassle. I have been using my RBAs when I'm not reviewing and/or dripping is simply not an option (if I'm driving or out and about), but whenever it's possible, I don't mind the dripping ritual, it's become part of the process for me.

Thank you rcbell! I'm glad you found the website and that you're finding it to be a valuable resource. It's definitely become almost a full time job staying on top of the reviews, but it's something that I enjoy doing, and it makes me very happy to be able to give something back to our community.

Just wanted to say thanks for the taking the time to set up that site! I like the way you describe the tastes, like a chef! :)

Thanks Jazzy! I appreciate the kind words and I love to hear from people that are finding the site to be the valuable resource I intended it to be.

BTW, 3 new reviews were added last night!

Is there an updated OR older list? I see only 9 "tobacco" flavors listed, most seem to have sweet in their flavor. The closest was the Kent version, then at the end it says close to a light cig. I smoked the ones that rhyme w/Coral - there was nothing sweet nor light about those. They are just straight up rip your throat out & kick you off the horse Tobacco - if those don't kill you, nothing will. Yet, here I am chasing that flavor....lol

Hey Rock Drummer,

What you see posted is everything I've reviewed so far. The reason the other flavors outnumbering tobaccos is simply a numbers game...while most vendors offer somewhere in the vicinity of 2-6 tobacco flavors, occasionally more, their collection will usually include dozens, if not hundreds of other flavors. I understand you're chasing the taste of an analog, as many people do, but unfortunately you'll never catch it. A cigarette tastes like combustion, a flavor that so far, has not been replicated to my knowledge. Most tobaccos have a sweet edge to them because that's what actual tobacco leaf tastes like, similar to chew (think beech-nut, although even those leaves have been through some other curing processes).

I do have some additional tobaccos lined up for review including Gandalf and Serendipity from Heather's Heavenly Vapes, a Carolina blend from Ginger's, a few more Dekang tobaccos (I think DK-Tab, USA mix, and Desert ship), and a couple others I can't recall offhand. While some of them may possess qualities similar to the Kent(SEC), nothing will ever taste like burning leaf, paper, and chemicals.

If you'd like to try it, PM me and I will see if I still have any of the Dekang SEC left in my post-review box...it will take me a few days to find, package and mail it out, but if you don't mind covering the shipping, I'd be happy to send you whatever I didn't vape in the reviewing process.

Sorry to be the one to break the bad news, but no juice can really taste like an analog...you may have better luck trying to find one that tastes like pipe tobacco, there are a few of those that do a relatively decent job, but still, they don't exactly taste like combustion, just sweet tobacco.

I myself don't vape tobacco and maybe never will, after I got that monkey off my back after 15 yrs the last thing I wanted was a juice that tasted like it! Plus it always seems its the tobacco flavor fans who have the most trouble finding an all day vape. To each his own, which is the best part, but I will stick with my sugar cookies and waffles :)

Just read the 3 New reviews, thanks again for doing them. :) I also went to YouTube and watched your review on crunch berries. I have had LJ esmokes on my list to try for a bit now. It's nice to have several juice makers in one spot for a change. I so wish for a Amazon type liquid site were I could buy from several vendors and pay shipping once. It's incredibly frustrating to only find one juice here and one juice there. :(

I am wondering, with all these fruity cereal type vapes, is there a fav for u? Have u had Crunk berry from Alice? How does it compare to Crunch Berries? Or is there another one u prefer?

Thanks Lethal! I agree with you about LJ's...I'm working on another review for them right now and mentioned what a great source it is for someone who doesn't like to pay for multiple shipping from different vendors. Three different to-notch juice mixers all in the same place, what more could one want? A centralized vendor with all kinds of juice on hand would make a killing, but it would limit customization options...the only downside I can see to the business model.

I haven't had crunk berry from AIV yet...but it's on my list. Of the ones that I've had, some are great, some are so-so. I tasted another from the same mixer as crunchberries and it wasn't as good...it was very similar, but the cereal base wasn't nearly as good. I also have another one with a corn cereal base in rough draft form that did well, Trixx from Flavorz by Joe. It's similar to the crunchberries, but fruitier. As a whole, I'd say the cereal flavored juice market is somewhat dicey...corn based cereal flavors tend to be better than rice cereal flavors, in my experience, but trying to cover all aspects of the market, from all different vendors is pretty challenging, so I haven't had enough of them to make any sort of sweeping statements...yet ;-) But if you're into that sort of flavor, try trixx from Joe, the review is coming soon.
