I checked it out ... liked it ... Would like very short, 2 minute video reviews better then reading it honestly but still good.
Go ahead and review freedomsmokeusa.com's ry4 so people dont buy 30ml of it .... I now know I HATE American ry4 blends ugh...

Still looking into the video reviews, but if they do happen, they will be short and point, as well as being shot and edited by a professional rather than on a grainy webcam. Love the RY4 suggestion. I'll add it to my list for the next round of ordering, altho I am currently waist deep in juice waiting for reviews.

personally I find it weird to watch people vape. I never saw the fascination of video reviews, a well written review is much better in my opinion, but YMMV.

From a personal perspective, I have to agree. I never saw the point of long, drawn out, grainy videos of people vaping. I always thought that due to the sheer volume of video reviews, there must be a demand for them, but the more I hear what folks are saying on this thread, the more I see just how wrong I was. Thanks for your input oldsoldier, it is greatly appreciated.

Though reviews of something, anything is entirely subjective I do feel like a well written one paragraph opinion is more objective, plus, with my ADD, I get through it quicker so that I can look at that damn shiny object in my periphery... Speaking of...

Lovin the new reviews. You're gonna make me order Cherry Cola now. Grrrrrrr.. must.stop.ordering.juice.

Thanks :) I'm doing my best to keep 'em coming. My personal tastes are put aside when it comes to reviews, but when I get some time to vape for pleasure, I really like a good cherry cola. While having completely different overall flavor profiles, the Juicy Vapor cherry cola and the Rawr Lazarus both have a great cherry flavor. None of that medicinal/cough drop tasting cherry that has, unfortunately, become all to common.

Since you seem to like a lot of the same things I do, I'd be curious to hear some of your faves...

I haven't had great luck with too many vendors. I found Kick Bass Vapor and have stayed with that for a bit. I'll venture into Juicy Vapor when I can get there some day... it's about an hour away. Other than Kick Bass Vapor, I kept getting flavors that had some kind of perfumey taste or soap or something... I don't know what, but they all had that taste. Even from some of the recommended vendors on ECF. The past few weeks, I seem to be stuck on peach sweet tea, cool watermelon, and candy bar from KBV. The candy bar isn't a fake, cheap, chocolate taste, it's what I'd imagine a melted snickers to taste like. The sweet tea is Snapple-icious in the afternoons. (I'm addicted to Snapple, so need something that goes well with that). Cool watermelon is watermelon with just a hint of menthol although I just got a new bottle today and the menthol almost made me hack up a lung, I need to steep that one.

So I checked out the reviews and (OH LOOK! SQUIRREL!!)... well, they are some mouth watering descriptions. :) I even went to Pink Spot after reading your review about the Swagger and ordered some, lol. Here I am, trying to DIY and you gave me s/thing else to buy. I have mixed feeling about that. :p
I'm on a quest to find a good cherry flavor, also. Right now I've got an excellent cherry flavoring and after steeping for over a week, it's pretty good but lacks some other elements, like sweetener and maybe s/thing else. Not really interested in the cherry cola either, although your description makes me want to try it.
Keep up the excellent work and I have to say I'm happy as hell that a chef stepped in and did these kind of reviews... so I can get a better idea of what flavorings could be added to what. ;)

Thank you so much for the kind words...can't wait to dive into all my DIY stuff as well, I just don't know when I'm going to find the time.

Sorry if I made you buy something else!! It was so hard for me to pick and choose the vendors and juice to include in my first batch of ordering. I did my best to get a little bit from as many different vendors as I could, although when I stumbled across a good coupon code, I did take full advantage. I also made sure to get my hands on lots of Dekang since it is so prevalent in the community among new and experienced vapers alike.

It was a little hard for me to spend all that money up front before I knew the website would prove to be a valuable resource for anyone. In the end, the positive feedback has far exceeded my expectations and I have no regrets. I'm hoping to get some more sponsors soon as well to help make up some of the initial costs, but I'm not holding my breath on that one.

Again, thanks for your feedback and I am still happy to hear any suggestions, be it for juice I need to get my hands on during my next round of orders, or general functionality on the site.

Thanks for the support EVERYONE! I really appreciate it.

I'd suggest Kick Bass Vapor Skipping Stones a very light, not sickly sweet butterscotch candy and/or their Butterscotch Bon Bon if you're looking for a decent butterscotch. I've tried lord only knows how many butterscotches and just about gave up until I got these. Vapeable right out of the bottle on day one... and getting better as they steep.

I sent KBV an email yesterday to see if they could provide me with a collection of sample size bottles to purchase, but have not yet heard back from them. If I have to buy 10-15ml of every juice I review, I'll completely run out of money before I manage to hit 150 reviews.

But thank you very much JENerationX. Your suggestions are not taken lightly as every one of them has gone on my list and many have already been put into action. Thanks to you, KBV has definitely been moved into the second round of orders...hopefully they can help me out with the smaller size bottles so I can get my hands on a respectable number of flavors to review.

OMG... I have 2 new ones from KBV I'm LOVING. Root Beer. more like the candy than A&W... and it actually fizzes my nostrils. No idea how they do that, but it's awesome. Mocha Ice Cream.... actually very mild, and on exhale I taste cone. What the hell? I've never understood how something can have a separate inhale and exhale flavor, but I love it.

What do you do when you're vaping away and get that dead taste bud issue we all deal with? I drink water and change flavors. What does a chef do to cleanse the pallet when vaping?

I love it when a juice has complimentary flavors on the inhale and the exhale. Getting the individual flavors to play off one another, in the proper order, is the crowning achievement for anyone making juice, professionally or DIY.

I'm excited to try that Mocha Ice Cream from KBV, it's going on the list...I love the malty flavor of waffle cone!

I've has a few of those "fizzy" juices and it's always a real nice touch. The Cherry Cola from Juicy has that little kick, as does Rawr's Lazarus, which if you haven't tried, I highly recommend...like a cherry-lime slushie from Sonic, only better.

As far as what to do when your taste falls flat, I do the exact same thing you do. I think most vapers have a tall glass of water next to them most of the time anyhow, but when that's not cutting it, you just gotta switch out the juice. I usually go for something with cool menthol in it. May just be me, but I find it helps give my taste buds a little reboot.
