jumped from 808 to mod, curious about fat batts

The subject line sums up the background. I went from v4l 808s, which I still use for some things, then to a 3.7v oldgoat, then decided I wanted 5v and went with a basic battery box mod. I'm doing well at 5v, I definitely prefer the higher voltage, but I'm curious about fat batts. are there any higher/variable voltage fat batts? i know using LR would achieve pretty much the same thing, but are there any ego/kgo type batts that achieve the higher voltage on their own?

To my knowledge the closest you can get with an ego style is 4.2, but I believe that is without load. If you want something that can put out a higher voltage, you can get a mod that allows you to stack two batteries for 6v vaping I believe. OR you can just make the plunge onto the Provari spend the little bit of additional dollars and it allows you to change from 3.7 - 6.0. Plus it has so many safety features you can't go wrong!

If you're already at 5V, pretty much the next step would, perhaps, be to go to variable voltage, which is what I use and like an awful lot. I use two regulated mods, variable between 3.5 and 5.5V. The notcigs Infinity Pro, runs about $120 with two sets of batteries and charger (coupon code ECF Buzzkill), is the equivalent of my older Infinity. I run through about 6 - 7 ml/day on one set of batteries.

The eGo Booster add-on, which last I knew only worked with true eGo, is supposed to allow 3.3 - 4.7V adjustment.

Good luck!
