There is rarely a need to steep liquids made from a single flavoring. Ones that seem to be a blends of multiple flavors may improve flavorwise with steeping, or not. I never steep. If you want to steep you take off the cap AND the dropper tip, then set it somewhere it can't spill, away from kids and pets, and leave it open for several hours or overnight. Downside - one person said the nicotine may loose some potency. I would only consider steeping if a juice had a perfume aroma (can be caused by some cream flavorings and by over-flavoring). And even then I usually don't care. If I really like it I will vape it anyway and then the perfumey smell will go away by itself drop from using the bottle.

Steeping only helps some juices that are mixed to order, gives time for the flavors to come together. Dekang is pre-bottled before you order so there shouldn't be any need to steep those. JC it's hard to say, I'm positive they will improve over time but unless you find them bad from the start then go ahead, that'll also give you a chance to see how it can change for yourself.

Steeping requires nothing more than set the liquid aside for a while in a cool place out of direct light...which is where you should store all your liquids. Some people leave the lid off for a day or so as it can speed up the process but I never have done that nor would recommend it, especially with kids and pets around. I would recommend at least a week for those you think need to be steeped and usually more like 2 weeks. They may improve slightly after that but I've found the biggest change to come in the first week or two.
