Got it sitting on my newish penny mod. Flavor not as good as a dripper. But it's still pretty good.

Like I said in a previous post, my 4nine broke a couple weeks ago so I ended up falling off the wagon. Try to do it again but with dripping and it hasn't work. So I figured I would by myself a tank for ease of use, and because that's how I originally stopped smoking.

I got this bad boy running at .8 ohms with 26g kanthal. Definitely a nice warm vape. Very happy with the purchase, I def plan on buying another rta.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I like my Taifun GT as well, pretty simple build and can handle lower builds than my other RTAs. Next suggestion would be a Kayfun or Russian (91% or the newer 2.0), Expromizer isn't that bad either (especially for the money kayfun style deck with a Taifun style tank clocking in at $65 to $85usd for an authentic), heard the Lemo is a great tank, also the Elkonegin (though on the pricey side for an authentic tank with just a frosted plastic tank).

Thanks for the suggestions. I appreciate it. I went to eciggity.com and saw the billow RTA and kinda got amped. $30 for it, think I might purchase that as well as a kayfun or a Russian as you suggested.

Heh... dunno what others will say, but try a Fogger V4.0/4.1. This has become my most reliable tank. Even though I prefer a single coil, they've all had problems with one thing or the other.. this has been very solid.. enough so, I don't mind putting this one in a pocket. The Orchid V4 seems like another version of the Fogger, and I've heard some great reviews. It seems like a Fogger/Kayfun had a child and came up with this. :)

I think the difference between the single and dual coils might be why the drippers still taste better. Granted, you can't go as low as a dripper, but I run my fogger at .7 ohms all day... it's my main atomizer while my kayfuns collect dust.

I've heard quite a few bad things about the fogger. If I can find one on the low, then yeah I'd probably buy one. But if not I dunno if I would make the purchase. I really like the way the fogger looks though. It's definitely a good looking RTA.

Well, for $17 from Fasttech is about as low as you can get... and IMO, it's a good deal.. just have to wait for it. As far as the downsides of it, I've owned it since...April/May time, and used fairly heavily since. The biggest downside, is having to trap two coils on only two screws. That takes some practice...but luckily, I've "cut my teeth" on the Aqua.. which is very similar to it. The wicking is unique, and might throw a bunch of people off. I usually fan it out around the juice holes, and only a TINY bit (like 1/4th of the wick) goes down halfway down the juice channel. It wicks best that way. And lastly, like with all tanks, it can have difficulties in high VG juice. Filling the juice, you'd need to wait a while until the juice gets past the chimney.. otherwise, you'll flood the coils. After that, the wicking is slow with high VG juices, but that's normal.

I'd say it's a solid tank. I vape all the time at a .7 ohm build. The fact it's stainless steel and pyrex glass makes it a winner for me. The V5 is supposed to help with the coil capturing by having post holes, but the only version I've seen uses push button capture, which I don't have faith in.

If you like the Taifun GT, please allow me to suggest that you also try the Taifun GS. It's a smaller tank, and it wicks differently than the GT model. It is, in my opinion, an excellent RTA as is the GT. I use mine with mesh feeder wicks up into the tank. No dry hits, no flooding, great vapor, flavor and throat hit too. The only con for me at this time is availability of replacement tanks. (BTW, all of mine are clones.) Unlike my Kayfuns, which for me are guaranteed to have leaked if I leave it lay for several hours, I can lay or stand my GS for days on end and never have had the thing leak in any way!

Might have to look around for one though, as recently many vendors pulled them because of logo issues. They should be back logoless in a short time. FT had the best quality ones.

I will definitely look into it. I really like the gt especially because it doesn't leak. It did today though but it wasn't the tanks fault. It was mine.

I some how the top portion of the tank loosened up past the o-ring and caused it to leak in my pocket. [emoji35] but that was my fault.

As for flavor, like I said the gt is great, so I can only assume the gs would be just as good. I will look into it.

I'd like to thank everyone for their suggestions, and I'll definitely consider them all. Possibly even purchase more than one that has been suggested to me.
