i am still waiting for the first microcoil user that has not changed the wick at least once in 2 days.

Generally speaking, you're right on with the dense juices (on Protanks, etc.). I'm getting about 2.5
tanks out of my primary (J.C. Tenn. Cured 6%PG) on the best media result drying out the internals every tank fill. I try not to deplete the tanks much more than half-way or I see darkening early and usually have to cut off on the 2nd tank. Running Nextel XC-132 very clean wicks 8-10 wraps on 1.58 and 1.75mm bit wound coils, stabilized on bit for install and threaded after fired and burned in. That's about the best you can do on one of these running between 1.8 and 2.2 ohms approx. and max 6.5 watts. Any hotter and early retirement for these honeys.
I wash the Nextel and torch top-wicks. Usually wick replacement after the 2nd sometimes third tank rotation. Since I don't remove coils, technically they don't get replaced. Top wicks outlast the main wick by a factor of 2:1. I toss those as soon as they show any significant sign of scorching. Affects flavor.
But I rotate three primary juices and the thickest is Boba's. That runs on three switched mech's kicked on 1.75mm and a third on 2mm Ekowool. I hit each daily and usually chain 'em when I do. They can go out to two weeks when I don't hit 'em as the main all day in my hand.
If I wanna blow clouds I throw 'em on a variable and all bets are off.
Good luck!
