I just met a friend of mine at my local starbucks for coffee this morning, he still smokes regular cigarettes.... dont think he will ever quit, he told me to join him for the "real thing " so i did.... i cannot believe i ever enjoyed those nasty things...they stink bad and taste aweful. i know i will never miss them nor will i ever buy them again. i love my nice tasting cinnimon or strawberry flavors so much better and they smell nice! i will still use my hookah though in nicer weather!

Good for you. I think trying one after quitting for a while is the best incentive to stay off them. Your addiction masked how much they stank, tasted like crap and how your mouth felt like an ashtray afterwardds.
Thats why I will never go back. Tried one not too long ago...expecting to taste my Apple Caramel and all I got was a mouthful of nasty! I put it out after one puff. No thank you!
Well, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that's had this experience. I quit smoking for about 3-4 months and went strictly to vaping. I was hanging out with some friends one night, throwing back a few beers and one of them asked me if I wanted a smoke. I decided, "Sure, why not?" That was the night that I knew I was done with analogs forever!
Kind of the same story here. I had been vaping for about 3 months and took a trip to Vegas. I managed to get some juice and my egos through but was thinking I was really going to go back to the swisher wood tips when I got to the casinos. Picked up a few packs at the Walgreens and sat down at the slot machine and fired one up with my gin and tonic. Man, was I disappointed at the taste. Nothing like I was expecting at all and boy was I anticipating that first drag of good old cigar smoke. I went outside and gave them away to one of the bums outside. Thought to myself that I'd try my second choice, Winston lights and the same thing, couldn't stand the smell and didn't enjoy the taste at all. Went outside and found, you guessed it, the same bum in the same place and gave the cigs to him and lighter too.
Went up to the room, filled a couple of iclear 16's and grabbed a few batteries and was happy as a clam for the next couple of days. I was very pleased to see that both of my long time favorites were getting no love from me. Funny thing was that the whole reason I tried to go back to smoking the stinkies was I was afraid of feeling embarrassed in the casinos. After my initial episode with the analogs, I felt a bit of pride about sporting my vaping gear. Even talked it up to a couple of folks while I was there. I did get a couple of strange looks at the tables but no issues. The pit boss came over once to look at it and I was vaping some sweet smelling hazelnut and he commented how much better it smelled than cigarette smoke.

I had a different experience. After 2 months I was having a difficult time with vapors tongue when everything tasted bad. So I went out on the patio and smoked 2 cigarettes. Man were they good. I felt like a teenager in the woods with a couple of smokes that I stole from my dad. I could really taste them, and I hadn't tasted anything for 40 years. I knew then and there that I had to give them up for good. I have vowed that I will smoke 1 cigar every year when we change over from daylight savings time. I figure that one hour doesn't count anyway.
I could never take another drag of a stink ever again Lol, sooo nasty after enjoying vaping for this long. Just the smell of it in the air makes me uncomfortable nowadays. I tried a little while back to just light one up and the initial drag to light it was the end of it for me hahaha
personally i would rather smell my diesel pick up exhaust then cigarette smoke. diesel exhaust smells so much better than cigarettes now. i am so glad i got my itaste vv and found nice flavors to use in it like niquid sinnamin and sinnabun along with strawberry fuzz. they all have a nice flavor and dont stink.

A few months after I started vaping, my ecig battery died while I was at work. Naturally I bummed a cig from a friend. EEEEQ! I couldn't believe how bad it was. I wish everyone that still smokes could know what they are missing.
