I'm sure the justGGs with the holes instead of slots will be utterly horrible, and you can sell them to me at a deep discount...

The point of my upset:
1. We pre-order from Imeo, sometimes sight unseen. Why? Because there is a large enough following and trusting a modded is something that has become customary.
2. We see time deadlines come and go because CNC shops made mistakes, because shiner take a while, because design improvements happen. Ok. As long as quality is there. (And I believe there was a mistake somewhere on the Ithaka, because of the way that has performed, but that's not for this thread).
3. We set our expectation on what we will get based on the description, and then a video showing what it will look like. Then a change...again.
These are all small changes. Yes. Trivial, maybe. But fit and finish is setup in one's mind. And I know fit and finish is important to some. I am not going to complain about the engravings going horizontal because that's just a preference and opinion. That doesn't change my opinion of a mod/atty. I am not 100% sold on the CR not having threading. Now I'm looking at the posts and wondering about the two size orings that are on the CR alone and wondering why exactly we have two sizes there. Yes, I do understand some is how tight you want the resistance of adjusting the air. But, I have reservations.
Do we have to keep everything on the down low so copiers don't get a pic of it? Maybe. But it won't stop. Copying will be out there. But lets remember, there IS a difference between copiers and cloners. Ford invented the car. Does Chevy get slammed because they copied it? or got inspired by it? Just because it has 4 wheels? Maybe Henry is rolling over in his grave. I don't know.
I've seen other mods. I'm not naive, I have other mods. I may have to preorder others as well, or hit F5, or just buy from the inventory. But not everything is a copy. If a design is not set in stone, maybe it shouldn't be released yet IMO. The last two have had changes during manufacturing.... the first of the two shows me everyday something went wrong. I'm hoping the second puts a smile on my face. I truly do.
And for the record, when you custom order a car and you see it's coming with one style grill. Then it shows up and the grill is a different style, does the dealer say to you "Some got the slotted grill, some got the holes in the grill, so we don't know what you are getting. Either way I'm sure you will enjoy the grill because I said so, if you agree".

Yea that will look great. I'm going to use the just gg in stealth with the stainless stealth cap and use the just gg collector and extension tube to make another ggts/just gg out of xtra pieces and finally the brass stealth cap will complete my brass/stainless ggts

Exactly. We all pre ordered putting our faith into imeo design without seeing the final product. Why even complain days before you are going to receive it. I am sure I will love either design. GG 4 Life!!!
If anyone gets the cap that they didn't want I'm sure something can be worked out. I am sure Imeo will address this issue soon.

WOOOH HOOO!!!! Just got a package from Greece full of mystery bubble wrap!
Edit, Just GG has now been freed of its protection... Pretty much plug and play. Adjusted and secured the switch, dropped in a fresh battery and my Ithaka is vaping like a charm! I really like the bottom side button in 18490 and 18350 mode (this is my first GG mod). 18650 mode is a little cumbersome but I imagine I will get used to that. I think the trick is to push the button with the palm of my hand and not my little finger.
The new thread-less air control works as designed. I felt that it was not stiff enough so I switched to the bigger o-rings that where sent along with the package (excellent idea Imeo!!)... To be honest, I am a big fan of the "legacy" threaded Ithaka air control so we will see how I adjust to the new thread-less solution. I think with the stiffer o-ring I will be good but adjusting "on the fly" is not as intuitive as it was with threads... as always, that is just my 2 euro cents
Final note... The Just GG is only about 4 mm longer than the Atmizoo Roller+Ithaka adjustable air base! (Good job Imeo!) The Just GG feels massively more robust than the Roller.
Now the only thing tainting my happiness is my own stupidity... my Ithaka rolled off the table yesterday and the clear window broke

I thank you too klepto and I hope that this GG will be your favorite electronic cigarette. I too dont see how an e-cig can be any better, and thats why I will move to electronics from now on
Yeeeeeeeeeeee. Just got the postman out of my door. Just GG in da house...! Damm its so small in 18350 and ithaka in small mode. Its so freaking nice. I cant really see how a mod can get any better. Great job Imeo and the people around you.. I cant stop looking at it. Also the placement of the engraving is very good "to my good friend" at the bottom nice and discreet. Im really gona need a few brass parts for it. And yes in 18490 mode telescope must be seen
