I say yes to a full brass CT. and I say no to anybody telling me what's safe for me and what's not

You are welcome to vape the hell out of any metal you would like, gl.
Some of us choose not to, due to facts. In fact, no one is telling you all that you can NOT vape brass. So do it. No here one cares and no government or secret society watchdog is going to stop you.
Didn't someone tell you that cigarettes were unhealthy? or did you figure it out on your own and your own studies?
Sometmes it can be about the conscious decisions we make in life. Not everything has to be a battle or debate. The prior posts from most were just members opinions not anyone telling anyone what not to do. Many of us just choose to trust factual information backed by science.

That kind of goes along with "don't regulate my juice", don't you think?

Hmm, it seems to me the regulations should be a little less reactionary. After all not every body has issues with either guns or vaping, but all people need more regulations?

Don't think the studies by many experts are reactionary. They were well thought out and planned studies and proved by chained experiments.
Just because someone or a group of people say that an action is unhealthy has nothing to do with a conservative opinion or it being in a "reactionary state of mind".
Again, no one has told us "you can't". There is no brass regulations in building devices, just facts.
As I have mentioned please take note of the number of brass, aluminum, copper tanks in production without being coated with a food safe/heat resistance coating now or ever....anyone? anyone?
oh, guns and political position have nothing to due with vaping.
:)

Thanks for the picture,it looks ok,but I don't know how much vaping went on this stealth cap with an atty
Like Ody or Ithaka? The reason I ask is becouse the post on my Provari's or other mods after full month
Were not looking like that at all!
They were blackend with gunk that I could polish off, only by using some fine 12,000 grit micromesh.
Know if this stealth cap were use full time 24/7 you make a point,if it was light used,
Then its not an argument becose the brass can take this time and stay bright,if not
In contact with liquid and heat all time.

From the day I received it on July 22, 2013, I used it exclusively with my Stealth and Ithaka until receipt of my JGG last week. Approximately 6ml of juice per day. Never polished the post, but once a month it was taken apart and cleaned in the ultrasonic, o-rings lubed and reassembled.

And I agree about the Provari center pin, I had to constantly clean it to maintain proper connection. I think that says alot about the quality of Imeo's base materials. Or rather the poor quality of some other manufacturers.

I don't see why the CT can't be half brass like the Stealth cap and the top part
Full SS like Ithaka base??
The Brass AR will cover most of it and it will look like full mod brass.
The only thing then to add will be Maybe Ithaka new design base without
Outher threads,so all can put the new Brass AR.
I post it before and yet after all it still look the best alternative without adding
unnecessary risks.
If someone can post a picture of Brass JGG with brass Stealth cap and Ithaka base with the new
brass AR for us that would be great. Nothing better then a picture.
I would do it,but damn I did not recived my orders yet.
Is there any volunteer guys?

Wow this is combat fast Great, and thanks.
The brass AR that I meant was the JGG original.
If Imeo can make a new Ithaka base,or you can call it the top
Part of the Brass CT (its the same) without the outer threads, then
We will be able to put this Brass AR on it and this cover most of the SS uper.
Is there any way you can put it (without damged th O rings)on the Ithaka base just
To see how it make up? If it can be done?
I don't know about all of you guys but to me this look a both sides winner 100%!
Just me thinking.

Lol. No. I think it's too easy to buy guns in this country. But I'm against it when they try to make me wear a helmet when I bike.

I guess the NFL wished they had more guys like you playing for them. They would never had gotten sued for those head injuries.

It fits on, but isn't functional. Too loose, but it will give you an idea of what it looks like.

Thank you Darkreign, with this we all got the idea of the Brass CT look
Ok it a fine looker.
And me personaly I don't mind this tiny bit of SS bellow the AR.
Now Lets wait and see what Imeo think on those, pictures,
As he have the better technical point of view to see what is ok and what need to
Be changed.

Not sure at whom this was directed but,
Isn't it time you took your smartass comments to another thread? Why must you continue to post meaningless comments? Comments like this are not positive and not helpful to what could be a topic that we all might learn something from. They are no good in Imeo's thread or anyone elses and are disruptive. It used to be somewhat a peaceful place to learn and hang with good people.
Thank you. GL

Edit. On another note, head injuries are not anything to joke about. Personally, I within the last 2 years have relearned to walk , speak with difficulty, and am still dealing with major balance issues due to TBI.

I agree that the looks of the Ithaka CT with the brass ring and stealth cap are attractive. My fault with the Ithaka AC is that the air slot is on the bottom, allowing any leaked juice to run out along my GG rendering it useless as a CT. If the new ones (that is if Imeo is going to make them) have the slot on the top, then it would be a viable solution. However, I dont see that as a possibility without increasing the height of the Ithaka.

It all boils down to either Imeo will make a Brass version of the CT or he wont. If he does, everyone who has been opposed to it is welcome to not purchase it. I am sure they have their reasons and everyone is welcome to have their own (And i would like to encourage that), but I dont feel that is a viable excuse to prevent those who want it from having it.

I think there are a fair amount of people that would very much like to see it created, but ultimately it is his call. I am more interested in letting him know that there are people out here willing to buy this product and aren't concerned with how shiny the inside is. I also think that more than enough proof, that it is safe, has been submitted, so that shouldn't be something he would worry about.

I would be disappointed if the sole reason this wasn't produced was because its not easy to polish.

No, it just slides up and down (you twist it). Not the best solution, but I guess you can make it work temporarily. Maybe Imeo can create a new collectors tank for the Ithaka without the screw-on / threaded ring, similar to the cap on the Just GG with brass or silver ring options. That way, you get the brass accent look without any of the alleged dangers of brass.

I'm curious, the brass AR threaded on the Ithaka base???

Thank you. GL

I forgot to quote tribe when replying, its fixed. And thank's for the smartass advice but I'm ok mate.

I take safety very seriously but unfortunately many people brush over it.
How many capers are there out there who couldn't know/care less, using dangerous .... from China?

Good idea.
We with Imeo in the past have talked about coating Brass with a coating much like the players of Brass instruments to avoid the patina and having to polish. I am unsure how long it lasts, if food safe and heat resistant. But, I would guess there might be something that would work.

Just brainstorming here, but if it's all about accents and NOT a full brass unit, how about if Imeo extended (doubled) the threading on either the SS or Plastic Clear Windows of the Ithaka, and created a brass ring that would cover half the threads? I made two crude photoshops to give you a visual of what I mean below. Together with the modified brass Air Control Ring, it would give it a chic look, I think, matching the full or partially brass Just GG.
