This one I have been using for years on my cars and my wife cars,it's hold some affects
up to 2/3 month,after applying the surface become very smooth but not only because of the polish,
It got some acrylic polymer that hardened on the surface I guess only microns but after
First time applying the next time will take no time as the tarnish will not take hold fast nor strong

Bishopheals in his vid <here> recommends Mothers Billet Metal Polish and then Mothers Carnabua Wax for protection.
Has anyone got tips to stop scratches on the telescope noticed mine is getting very fine lines from the internal thread nothing major and isn't noticeable and I'm sure will Polish out but don't want it to get any more pronounced and can any one else recommend a good so Polish for it
I'll be picking up some of that wax right after work!!! I have the same question as fish.

This is a pic of the a GGTS telescope tube. I believe the new threading is much better. Are yours less pronounced than this and would they show in a pic?
I used the some Mothers Billet and after going at it a while almost completely polished it out and thought great. Then after I put it back and the threads got to the tube it all came back and was told everyone has the same thing. Imeo did say the new threads would not cause such lines on the tube this time around on the justGG.

Far less pronounced in all fairness it's something you have to really examine to see just me being that way inclined to examine my new shiny things I could probably sell the thing as brand new and not receive complaints lol was really wondering if there's anyway to prevent the burring from progressing
Agreed its not a terrible thing but definitely want to prevent it from getting worse.

I have mine in 18650 solid mode. I leave tele tube on my TSs so JGG can stay solid. But I'm almost afraid to see if mine mark up.

That's why I stayed away. And I'm glad imeo provided a SS button head. The "dirty belly button" as my wife says.
But it levels off after short work?
It's not a very pretty thing either 
. I have been using my GGTS in 18490 so I don't have to see the telescope. I specifically asked Imeo about this and the response I got was it will not happen on the justGG.

My ONLY regret is not buying 2 to begin with. I'm like a kid with a new Legos toy kit. Now it's in short mode with brass stealth cap that I just received from COV. Flying international I'm afraid to take my "one & only" with me as I know I can't replace it. Thanks again to Capt Steve for turning me on to the flashlight head!
I have found lines on one of mine a few years back. After buffing them out I realized it must have been from unscrewing the tube on an angle. Since then I unscrew or screw in straight up and down not on an angle. No lines since then.
Here is the SS definitely there but not even close to as bad.

I would think I was doing something wrong if the ones on the brass weren't there the day I got it (don't get me wrong not as bad as they are now). I hope there is a way to fix/prevent more.
