t -shirts and hats are already on COV's site Idaho and the quality is exellent.! Bruce did a very good job there.

Proteus will be able to do what both mechanicals and electronic mods can do. As for the VIR, thats another story

Gotta say, I LOLed at the cartoon Imeo face. I'm a long-time fan, but I gotta draw the line somewhere. :)

So the only Just GG with a %100 uniform finish outside is the Stainless?

Thank you so much Imeo for providing these answers. It is the electrical of Just GG that makes it so desirable to me. But it's hard to decide the outside color. I like the "solid" look, but I love brass. The brass collector tank I've seen must have been aftermarket. forgive me for getting that wrong. It did look good!

The brass Oddy shield is very thin and is a unique personal customization in my opinion. It does "fatten" a little, but I'm OK with that. I am a parts collector who likes mixing and matching & DIY modding.

I even make my own electrical for my GG. I created a center post that functions a lot like Just GG. I had to because of limited GG stock. My post does not use the 510 threads either, and telescopes two pieces, but I have a knurled nut inside that makes a compression seal by way of compressing a rubber tubing instead of two o-rings, and I insulated with nylon.

My buddy works at an underwater remote operated vehicle research and design facility, so he gets me brass hardware and really cool plastics and other materials. We love using scraps from the shop to build and fix things. They use only spacecraft grade materials to be suitable for harsh/salty high pressure/low pressure environments. They recently dropped a rover down to the bottom of Lake Tahoe (deepest California Lake - very very deep) and made man's first sight of the bottom a few months ago. What did they see? Millions of crayfish and lots of mud! People used to say there is a monster down there. Rumor was a giant sturgeon has been seen. Haha. Thanks for chatting Imeo. I meant it when I said you've got to visit this area some day and get the upsetter21 tour. Cheers M8.

As always I'm enjoying the GG opera.

I never made a brass CT upset, maybe it was a third party application:)

As for a brass dressed Ody, it will become very fat and you will not like it to my opinion

When I say brass connector on justGG, I mean brass center pin only. You cant see this piece, its internal

Older SS button heads should fit them right? I think they're the same button?
I will personally put ss heads on my buttons.. I tarnish brass like nobody's business!

Yes. They should from what I've read. I like the brass. I'm not sold on new alloy. I'll end up having to replace my buttons. Going to have to buy a few.

Monumental day for me. Been rolling with my Ithaka on an SVD for awhile now(guarantee I got 1.3ohm coils down to a science;)) "Just" pre-ordered a JGG with COV- will be my first mech. At the ripe old age of 39; I've recaptured the feeling of a kid waiting for christmas. I cannot wait to place Ithy where she rightfully belongs.

Wait, does this mean I have to replace my Provari? But it has such a nice button!:rickroll:

I think JGG and Provari can coexist... until imeo makes an electronic part for JGG.
After that... heaven it's one way road :)

SS is uniform SS. Except .... the button. Button is brass on ALL.

Thanks for the concise answer yankeebobo. BTW, I am enjoying the brass GG bottom tube despite it causing me to learn the hard way that there are two brass finishes circulating for GG's. But hey, that's collecting. Congrats on the Just GG pre-order too!

I think I know what you would say, but can I ask you anyway?... Should I bump a Nemesis w/ Loki + Diver in order to fund a Just GG?

I'm asking you because you are one heck of an ECF'r and I recognize you're commitment to GG's... but I see in your tag, "Chi You" and am thinking I'd like to read your feelings regarding a bottom button vs. side button. I understand the Chi You fits into the GG collection a little better than Nemesis, with the GG-native threading up top, but I'm curious if you neglect your bottom button mech the way I do, Nemesis living in my GG's shadow.

After a solid week of handling the GG, a bottom button turns me into an awkward monkey. Do you experience this on your Chi You?

Thanks.

GG is not just a side button mod upset. Its a historical mechanical e-cig that first discover and still includes all the innovations that you see on other e-cigs and also has always something new to offer you. So your question to Yankee has no meaning to my opinion. The only that can answer this question is only you. Front button mods are not what most people want, thats why I stopped making them years ago.

Monkey is the word that Greek seller use too for front button mods lol.

Button has to be on side. Not on top like some mods that you push the whole mod to your mouth to vape or you try to push the 510 cap to make it work. These positions are easy to be made and thats why you see them on mods. Side button is the only that works. And there are 2 sides. One GG style and one near atomizer.

You asked only Yankee about this but I found the opportunity to put my opinion too on this issue:)

I cannot answer what you should do. I know what I would do based on the devices I've had. I can tell you that there is nothing like the GG. the button placement is perfect. It feels natural. I can't even compare publicly this to any bottom button mod as they are two different animals.

I can say that when using a GG, the bottom button can feel awkward for sure. But out of respect to each mod maker I cannot compare the two devices on either forum or thread. Each has its own purpose. :)

I'm sure others can chime in. There are many other GGers who have a crap load if more handling and knowledge in anything than I. I just know what I like. And happen to have a wife that knows the same. :D
