When I bought my AVS for my VV Buzz v1, I was happy using the VV but the mod didn't look as good as the GGTS which I bought soon after. I've always been impressed with the appearance of GG devices, even more so with their fit & finish which is nearly flawless. I liked using atomizers and the VV as a handy device.
Since then the iAtty and many other rba's have come and gone, which changed the need for VV and changed the whole communities desires for mechanical mods for the better. Dropping mechanical for VV seems contradictory to me after moving on from there.

I dont think that there is other mechanical than justGG out there that can fail less than justGG buddy. All mechanicals have plastics inside and when they fail they need replecements and money, something that doesnt happen on justGG, where you only need are some o-rings from your local shop, so you dont even need my support. I eliminated plastics for that reason, exept the plastic for front axis, witch I made it fat and with big bolts. That way it will get never damaged. As for mechanicals without springs, justGG works without springs too (GGTS too that was made 4 years ago) as you already said but magnets will fail much sooner than spring. As you know, I invented magnets inside button but they brake easily and they dont have the connection we really need.
Only thing to fail in just gg is the button spring which can be replaced with magnets, and perhaps orings.

There are other mechanicals out there with nothing to fail, no orings, no spring anywhere.

Thats why I say mechanicals rule, with electronics its not a question of if but when.

Haven't seen a pic yet. Can't wait to see one though! But it will just make me sad that I couldn't get a brass one too! At least I will have a ss one!

There were a few in some previous pages however they where missing something, the ring on the collector tank or something like that and they were low quality. Looked awesome though, can't wait to receive mine.

after people started to mention the brass tarnishing and new brass versus old brass I went ahead and asked Bruce to change the brass JGG that I ordered to SS but now I kinda hope that he forgets and send me one of each.
I did the same thing D. He did not forget and cancelled it. So only ss for me.

Thanks Rogue and since Imeo said it will his last mechanical - here is whats going to happen to Imeo when he finally makes the decision to not make anymore mechanicals and refuses to make them. His minions will go wild for sure.

Poppa, people are now taking their VV's out again especially with the discovery of the microcoils. They want regulated devices and microcoil gives them the ability to use them with an excellent performance. DNA20 devices are also gaining popularity. There are 3 main reasons as I see it of why people prefer mechanical over electronics:

1- The looks: Imeo will make sure proteus will be amazing, c'mon it is IMEO!
2- Limitations: Proteus will be something from the future I doubt it has any limitation or even work in a conventional way
3- Failure: GG quality? It should not fail easily, but then again you will not be able to dip it under water.

So I am not affraid to switch back to electronics especially if it gives me regulation in style.

that makes me think of a crucial question: IMEO how are you going to handle the lifetime warranty with Proteus?
