Only Bruce can answer your question my dear, just send him a pm.
okay...I must be stupid...you can't answer if and when you shipped to Bruce yet?
I think its easier to twist, than using crimps. Don't know why but they seem to bulky for me
I couldn't agree more! Not worth the trouble. I tried them and gave up real quick. Easier to twist or buy premade.

What's this?
There's a magnetic firing button that fits to a JGG?
i have no Facebook access - but would like to get a firing button that uses repelling magnets instead of the rather "too" strong spring. Is there another way to get one other than through Facebook?
help!...
The only serious reason that I see using brass in contact with liquid is the tarnish of brass. But we have another issue. What will you use to remove tarnish? Autosol for example. And how you will totally remove autosol from CT to use it again?
Those are real problems and cleaning CT will be a pain.
We have to make a brass cover for an SS CT. Ok, I am going to think more about it and I will report in a while
I'm so excited, I should be getting my brass jgg in the mail today.. . Though I've always wanted an all brass Mod, like I've been wanting the brass nemesis for a long time, but as soon as I saw this beauty, I pulled the trigger right away. Admittedly, it is my first GG as I've already lobed the look of the GGTS, but never could really get one & didn't want to over pay in the classies when they appear. I just hope I made the right decision with the brass & not the ss. I've read that the brass of the jgg tarnishes very quickly, so it sounds like I'll be polishing a lot, which I knew there would be more maintenance involved, but I just hope I don't have to break it down daily & polish it.
Has anyone found a product that not only polishes, but also keeps a protective layer on it that slows tarnish down? I have Brasso & never dull, which I just purchased, so not too sure how that will work, but I personally don't like Brasso much, cuz I've polished brass with it & it was already tarnishing by the end of the same day.
Thanks for any help & sorry for the long post, very excited to join the GG family!!

I am not to sure about what to use for a protective layer but I can tell you that you do not want to use brasso, it is not a good product to use on gg. dspin has had amazing results with sharkhide which you would have to buy online and cost around 40 bucks which is top of the line for polishing or you could go to walmart and pick up some mothers mag and aluminum polish for about 4 bucks and that stuff works great.
the new brass does tarnish quickly, BUT, it's amazing how much you can slow it down just by wiping it down with a micro fiber cloth once or twice a day. I was extremely hesitant to get the brass but very glad I did.
Congrats Blake, I'm sure you'll love JGG!
