Ok guys, been enjoying my JGG and I must say i am completely into GG now, i love it, it's amazing. I am so glad to be on the preorder for the Proteus. First I want another JGG, that one is going to a padded box to stay pretty, the one i have now will be my daily soldier. Thank you so much to everyone for letting the word out on how perfect this devices are so people like myself take the plunge into the wonderful world of Imeos mind. Please Imeo keep the amazing quality and love you put into your creations. I know for sure that our grandchildren will read in the future your name in the hall of fame you are a legend. Now it's time to annoy the pros:

Tiny question; the brass button is it just for esthetics or does it improve conductivity?

I must say that after recently acquiring a SSJGG/Ithaka, I am enjoying it very much. Being a bottom button fan, I wasn't sure I would appreciate the side fire of the GG. I was wrong. Totally natural feel of use. Where I am confused is by reading all the posts from members trying to acquire all these parts for configurations. Again, I am new to the GG, so maybe thats where I am lost at.

Brass Button Head could in theory increase conductivity but I believe the inclusion of both was mostly meant for looks.

very nice family you got there wver.
I'm glad there was new brass to start with.
it's diffrent looking metal, and when shined it look great with SS.
the pictures don't catch that very well IMHO.
I don't care for how it's tarnish as I don't let it tarnish more then a day!
and when it's shine it's look great.

Hi guys,

How are you doing with the jgg and evolv kick? I have a lot of misfires, with the naked axis (no spring, o ring etc.) I got much better result but also misfires at about 3,7 volts... need some help :(

Ps.: contacts are clean ;)

At the Moment it's working fine on all JGG's with telescope out and just the axis without spring or anything else. :) is it possible that the spring creates some resistance, so the kick thinks the battery is at a lower voltage level?

With the full set up venting cap and telescope out i have misfires, but only with the original evolv kick.

I think is not needed to take out the spring and the spring loaded pin from the axis, just remove the top SS ring to bypass the spring. I think it works better in telescope mode because it provides more pressure, resulting in better contact.
