I have to admit I'm jealous as I am waiting for both my ego and ego-t atty and cartridges to arrive. I can't wait to be rid of that horrible taste of burnt fill!!!
Thanks for posting your impression of the ego-t Torn-up!

Is the eGo-T compatible at all with the 510? I was considering getting an eGo and a 510, that way I'd have interchangeable parts I could just switch out because I don't really want to use a huge battery in public. But honestly, the eGo-T seems like it's so much better than the original eGo. I'm torn!

Yes it is. I use a Riva with eGo-T atties and carts and it works fine. Most 510 parts are interchangeable, the eGo-T stuff can be used with an eGo, eGo-T, Riva, Tornado, or any other similar 510 batteries.

Can the eGo T stuff be used with the smaller 510 battery? or just the eGo/riva/tornado batteries?

The eGo-T atomizers are cones and the same diameter as a eGo/Riva battery, I would think it -may- work? But doubt you would want to use them on small batteries like that. Kind of defeats the purpose of having a small battery. Same goes for the eGo XL stuff I would think. Same thread size, but made for different battery types. So technically interchangeable but not practical.

That's what I was thinking. I have an eGo PT and two ego batts, but wanted to know just in case it comes up.

I'm wondering if I'm the only one bothered by the dry tasting vapes I'm getting from my Ego-t. It seems a straight forward set-up, so I'm not sure what I could be doing wrong. Is this something that breaking in the atty more will address? I've filled the tank about 3/4 of the way, having seen somewhere that that can help with wicking. I'm also trying the priming inhales without activating the battery. So far, no improvement. Great vapor, though. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

OK, rite after I posted yesterday I realized that I didnt push the tank cart in all the way lol, being my fisrt time using the tank system I didnt want 2 force it and accidentally break anything. Well as soon as I had it set in rite, ECSTASY ensued lol. Vapor production was great, throat hit was great, and WOW the flavor was intensified sooo much. I thought what I vape tasted good before, now its 10x better and more flavorful, no more burnt flav or dryness, just a nice warm smoothe strong vape.

Is it at all possible that the tank isn't pushed in all the way?

I also noticed that dry, tasteless vape with mine. Great vapor production tho! I put mine up for sale in the classifieds because I have to be able to taste the flavors of my juices, not just experience the vapor production. Too bad too because the concept is great *sigh*

The tank is all the way in and I'm using Backwoods Brew Malty, which I believe is 70/30%. I would describe it as seriously lacking in flavor, with more than a hint of dryness. I want to like this, believe me. Everyone else having a good experience is making me envious. Thanks for the feedback.

Have you tried your Malty on a different setup? Does it taste better? Stronger? Malty is a very subtle flavor, not unlike Ecopure, and I happen to love it in my tanks.

Or, I noticed that some flavors taste better when you drip with them, some taste better in a cartomizer, some taste better with a cart/atomizer combo.. maybe that flavor just doesn't go with the Tank system all that well? Have you tried the tank with any other flavors? Of course it's totally possible that the atomizer is just not a great one too.

I agree with Rosa. If all your flavors are off, then it might be the atty. If it's just the Malty, who knows. Taste is so subjective... I have noticed that some juices taste better with the tank on higher voltage, like 3.7v, rather than the eGo's 3.2v.

Another possibility is the break-in period. Did you blow out all the primer out of the atty? Sometimes it takes a tank or two for the atty to start working perfectly.

I love the ego- t system, Tons of vaper, super easy refill, no leaking whatsoever. But I must agree, the flavor is a little less with the ego-t than with a mega cartomizer. 4 tank full's later and flavor is about the same as when it was new. But not a game changer. I love this this and hope to use it for years. I'm vaping Newport from FSUSA right now it is my favorite so far, BTW I bought the ego-t from Cignot and man they ship super fast, had it next day. I also upgraded to the 1000mah batteries. One battery last all day. I couldn't ask for more. Anyways I wouldn't hold off on buying the tank system, it works excellent.
