Hi all I'm a noob here been vaping for just about 5 months I grabbed a group buy as well from Focal-ecig and I've not one problem yet I was using a Vision Spinner 2 and Kanger Mini Protank 2 and a new Mega which it gives great clouds. So far I seem to like wattage the best as far as batteries go my local vape shop had the new purple Efest battery that's 2500mah 35 A though I heard its actually a LG battery but at $10 it can't be beat. I have question though what would be a good 18350 for my Vamo? As I said I'm a noob I'm just wanting the best drain for the size say for the afternoon out and about.

Thanks for any advice anyone can give as I dig this forum. Be seeing you...

Don't know if this will help solve your problem of the vamo shutting down on its own. For mine (v2), I find that the button likes firm presses. I've not had the problem of it shutting down on its own ever since.

So, try mashing down the fire button whenever you take a vape.
Mine (v5) does this as well. I will keep that in mind.

I have 2 Efest purple 18350 v1 if it matters... v2 is supposed to be better.
In the Efest battery world V1 means flat top and V2 means button top. One is not better than the other unless your rig only uses button top batteries, otherwise V1 and V2 are identical.

what would be a good 18350 for my Vamo?

Variable Voltage...like a manual transmission on a car...change topper Ω and you have to change Voltage setting

Variable Wattage...like an automatic transmission on a car...change topper Ω and leave on same Wattage setting (since it will compute new Voltage needed to match new Ω)

Best priced 18350 I found:

Amazon.com: (2 Pieces) IMR 18350 800mah 3.7v High Drain Li-mn Rechargeable Battery with Flat Top: Health & Personal Care

(Click on "8 new from" and you can find same price with FREE shipping without the $35 limit...eg. Safetymind.)

Decided to try a pack of the "new" Aspire BVC to try in my neglected (original) Nautilus in my backup drawer.

Their taste/TH/vapor were impressive on my MVP2 at 11Watts...but unbelievable on my Vamo at 15Watts.

So after deciding to get another Nautilus decided I "needed" another Vamo.

The "2014 Newest" Vamo V5 with "Updated OLED" now has different colors available.

$33.95 (FREE shipping):
