Just got my first electric MOD - T MAX by Sigelei - what do you guys think?

So I got into vaping 2 months ago. After a month, felt that a starter kit wasn't quite cutting it for me. Bought a few mechs (Blackhawk by Panzer and Stingray) and got convinced by my local vape shop to start out with a Sigelei T Max as my first electrical MOD. I've been reading quite a fair bit of unfavorable reviews of the T-MAX. Has anyone out there got something good to say about it? At least 1? Am getting seriously worried. Only thing consoling me is that I also bought UCT's The Russian 91% which I hear is an awesome tank apart from the fact that mine started getting loose parts (near the ceramic plate) after 1 day of usage. Could be my beginner fingers though. But anyone here got any experience of a T-MAX?:?::(

Well first of all I'd like to say Welcome!

As for your T Max I guess I have to ask what are your concerns? Are you worried that it won't perform to it's claimed specs and purpose or are you unsure if that was the best first VW/VV device? maybe both.. haha

I personally don't have a TMAX but the only possible negative i've heard is that it has a tight draw due to the design of the connector sitting low. May I ask why you picked the T max in particular?

Hi Raffa! - bought the T max mainly due to the price (although I'm sure I'll be accused of compromising on price for quality!) - it was the cheapest variable mod and my local vape shop guy was telling me it was a good variable mod to start with. So far I haven't got any problems with it but some of my more experienced vaping friends tell me it's not 'consistent'. So far it vapes well. I've not had any problems but then again I haven't tried anything beyond a T-MAX. I am also eyeing the ZNA DNA 30 as I hear it's a better performing mod than the provari. Gosh - this whole vaping thing is overwhelming! haha. (I've just got into this for about a month)

the best vaping device is the one that keeps you off the stinky sticks.

but we all were big eyed when we got here and saw all the pretty devices. i personally own a ZNA and its a great device. but i own a Provari too

the best thing i can offer for advice is before spending big bucks on the actual device. this will be the longest battles you will have doing this.. is finding something you like you put on top and that works for you. make sure its something you can use day in and day out without issues. this is 100% important when your starting out as you don't want issues when your new you just want it to work

i can tell you the Provari is so well built its like a tank. i have dropped mine a few times and it still looks brand new. its about 2 years old and still looks like the day i bought it and it still performs the same.

i have been through 40 or so cheaper devices, they have broken or the paint or coating as worn off and even though it was cheaper it has not lasted as long

but again find something you can use daily and affordable and keeps you off the stinky sticks. but both the ZNA and Provari are good devices. depends what you want to use them for too something you should research.. the Russian will perform fantastic on a ZNA
