Just got finished opening and checking out my new vape gear.

Vamo V3, a couple Evods and a couple smoktek DCT pyrex tanks, plus extras and batteries yada yada.

From the vendor I bought from, I grabbed three E liquids. Its the HighCaliber Brand.

3 Evods, 3 flavors.. match made in heaven.

So far, my overall impression of the flavors, is meh. Tiramisu, Tutti Frutti, and RY4.

The Evods are reading out at 2.6-2.8ohms, and Ive played with the voltage from 3.7 to 5.0. Possibly because Im a new vaper, possibly because the juices need to steep, but they taste very harsh up near 5. Basically the lower the better has been the theme right now. The Tutti Frutti has the most apparent flavor, followed by RY4, and then Tiramisu. I like them in that order.

None of them really make me go, WOW, delicious. Just, Oh.. Ok, cool.

I do have a whole crapload of juices on the way from Mt Baker Vapor to try as well.

Any thoughts? Is High Caliber a known brand of ejuice? Couldnt find a whole lot on them...(I also dont want to put an opinion of a company out there when Im still a new member)

Much appreciated, thanks,Jeff

You might want to grab a couple of ego batteries for back ups in case you vamo dies on ya! Plus always have 2 chargers.

Yeah Im putting together an order for some more items.. Im really liking these Evods, I can see myself having a whole slew of them. And I also want some Cartos, as well as an Atty or two too try dripping, at this point mostly just to try the flavors before I load up an Evod.

As im browsing, Im thinking I should add a couple Evo Twists and a usb charger. Might as well have a couple on hand just in case.

LOL This can get expensive as I'm also wanting to buy tons of stuff.

Currently looking for a back up to my vamo.

I can't imagine losing it or it breaking and not having a back up .

It's kind of fun this vaping thingy :)

I have no knowledge of High Caliber but I tried quite a few MBV flavors before realizing my problem with the juices was an actual allergy to the PG. Didn't realize it until I got a set up that actually produced a decent amount of vapor. If you like the "sweet tart" type flavors I would suggest their razzleberry. When I ordered the small bottle to try I got 12mg house blend (80/20), my boyfriend did the reorder for me and got the 18mg, since I had the same question about nic strength and I couldn't put the razzleberry down, with an extra flavor shot to compensate for the higher nic (it does effect the flavor). The first bottle I got tasted more like the blue raspberry icee, the larger bottle was more like a sweet tart. I have tried several chocolate flavors from different companies and they all seemed to have a "chalky" feel to them. Also, it seems the darker juices do need more steep time.....don't know why, maybe it's just me. MBV seems to be the best price for volume, you will just have to try all million and 1 flavors to find the ones that suit you the best. If you tend to like fruity/candy flavors I think you will really like MBVs flavors, my personal opinion of their tobaccos and savory flavors is not that great......again my personal opinion. Good luck and happy hunting!!

Thats why Im going to keep the Blu Premium100 kit I bought. Ive got three Premium100 batteries, which are a hair bigger than the standard ones(I was still going through 3-4 a day), plus they have a 510 connection, so I can use my smoktek tanks or kanger protanks, or even just refill their cartos. Plus, Ive got a spare box of their vanilla cartos too.

Wouldn't be awesome, but would definitely be a good backup in case of emergency.

I like to use 1.8 ohm heads on my evods. That way they work wonderful on just a standard ego. Plus I like to use protank heads on them instead of evod heads,

I've never had a bad taste out of a new EVOD - just FYI. I've seen people say to rinse em, but never found the need.
(the little NANO clearo's on the other hand, I find 1 out of 4 simply RUINS the first ml of juice with a plastic taste).

I also wanted to note - I didn't like much of the juice from Mt. Baker - so don't assume you'll never find something you like if those don't wow you either. They have a LOT of fans, but I'm just not one of them. And most of their juice DOES seem to arrive with a "chemical" or "perfume" taste that can take a while (week or more) to fade.

So you should plan on continuing a search for juice you love. But it sounds like you've got a really GOOD startup setup as far as equipment goes!

    Good luck!

    Uhhh, crap.

Well, there is reason they call it NOOB.

Ill change the heads on these evods and try again....
