Yay! I have been waiting (not so patiently) for it to arrive and it just came! Here is what I ordered from Sweet Vapes (after some great advice from this forum):

KGO V 2 Vision Kit ~ in pink of course ;)

2.0 ohm Debridged 510 Atomizers

Some menthol and flavored liquids

And they threw in a mini free "sugar cookie" liquid too! Thought that was cool of them!

Now I need to go watch some youtube videos again on how to fill the things up!

Filling the visions is very easy. Unscrew the top drip tip and drip some juice down the side without getting in the center air hole. Give it a minute or two to soak up the juice, then vape away. The first couple of hits may be dry or burnt. That's just because the juice hasn't gotten to the coil yet.

Enjoy, you have a good setup

Well.. uhmm...

For the atomizers, what you will want to do is drip. See this: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ecf-library/66848-guide-direct-dripping.html and ask any questions.

Atomizers can be used as long as they work. You might need to clean them from time to time to keep them in shape. I use alcohol and soak them overnight, then blow them, dry burn and start using them.

When the draw becomes too tight in spite of cleaning, they're ready for the bin, but usually they will "pop" and die before that. Making sure they are wet at all times - even when you don't vape them, will help prevent accidental popping.

I'm not sure what cartomizers you have. If they are the filler type, you need to fill them properly before you vape them. The cartomizers will last several days, maybe a couple of weeks tops. Then they become too gunked up and the draw is stiff and the taste is funny. Some people clean them, I just toss them - they are meant to be disposable anyhow.

Check this out for filling cartos: A PBusardo Tutorial : Filling Boge 510 Cartomizers - YouTube

Clearomizers, in general, are filler-less cartomizers (without going into terminology and branding details). Do you have any? The most popular these days are the eGo Vision cartomizers aka CE4+ and the Pheonix bottom coil clearomizers. These are filled depending on their make - look for instructions for the specific model.

well, I have what came with the kit which are the V 2 Vision Ego Cartomizers. then it was recommended that I buy the 2.0 ohm Debridged 510 Atomizer to test the juice with before I put them in the Vision Ego Cartomizer. so I have both of those...now I'm trying to figure out how to fill the Boge 510 Cartomizer to vape my first vape...I'm gonna go watch that tutorial, that's the right one for what I got isn't it?

[Edit: I thought you bought the kit with the atomizers, not the clearomizers. So, I've deleted my long-winded advice on the atomizers, which would be irrelevant. All you need to do is fill a clearomizer with juice, make sure the wicks are wet and let it sit a while so the juice can wick up a bit, and then fire up the KGO and vape away. Make sure you tilt the clearo to wet the wicks from time to time.]

This doesn't make sense. Fill your Visions with whatever you want - you can take the juice out and clean them and re-use them as many times you want. You don't want to use cartomizers to test juice. You can't take the juice out of the cartomizer.

You will want to use atomizers to test juice before filling cartos and even the Visions with the juice.

I find cartos to be a more reliably positive experience than the Visions, but that's just me. Visions do have a break-in period so if you want a good vape out of the bat, use the Boges. Yes, the video is right for the Boges, only yours are a little bigger - you'll need to use at least twice as much juice. Make sure the top of the filler is moist, slushy - that's when they are full.

Here's a PBusardo video on the clearomizers you have (or what I THINK you have). See if this is helpful.

A PBusardo Review - Vision EGO Transparent Clearomizer - AltSmoke - YouTube

By the way, I have 5 or 6 of them and I've never had any of the problems filling them that he had on the video. Just tilt them and drip juice into them to avoid getting juice into the center airhole.

Take it easy. It is confusing, it's not you :)

You do not fill the atomizers. You drip. That's why they're good for testing juice - that and because they give off better flavor than other attachments.

If you do have Boge cartomizers, do that thing in the video, but if you happen to have a syringe and an 18 Ga needle, you can use that, too. You would have to inject the liquid between the filler and the outer wall, not into the filler and not in the center hole. You'd fill until the top of the filler gets slushy - that's the common denominator for any filling method.

If you want, just go ahead and fill up a Vision and try to vape.

I'm just saying - the atomizers and dripping have a learning curve and you might be put off by them initially.

Oh, and you do not have to charge the KGOs for 8 hours. Just until the LED turns green and stays that way.

OK, just drip. But keep in mind that if it doesn't work, that's fine.

1. Blow any primer liquid off the atomizer (blow hard through the battery end into a paper towel)
2. Prime - drip 4-5 drops of liquid onto the atomizer
3. Wait a minute
4. Vape
5. If the flavor / vapor gets low or dry or burning taste hits, drip 2-3 more drops of liquid

Then and/or at the same time, fill the Vision clearo and just vape.

Then and/or at the same time, fill the Boge and just vape.

Just vape.

One of the things that is confusing you/us is that Sweet-Vapes calls the Vision Kit "cartomizers" and everyone else in the free world calls them clearomizers. Cartomizers are what elfstone shows in his 2nd pic above.

I linked a video above that shows how to fill and use the clearomizers, and elfstone gave you a video on how to fill the cartomizers.

For the atomizers, if you have any vodka or everclear around, you should rinse the atomizers in some and then dry them. You can let them air dry or you can use a hair dryer with the heat setting on cool. Blow through the open end of the atomizer to blow any gunk out. Then drip 4 or 5 drops of juice right in the middle of the atomizer. Put a drip tip on the open end of it. Screw it on the KGO.

Put the drip tip to your lips. Push the button on the KGO. Take a short, easy draw and do NOT inhale. The first 2 or 3 hits from a new atomizer can still have some primer in there (in my limited experience with them). Just puff and blow it out without inhaling.

Then, when you are ready to take a hit and inhale, take a short, easy draw. On the next hit, take a little longer draw, but still easy. You don't want to vape like you would smoke a cigarette. Longer but easier hits is the name of the game.

After 4 - 6 vapes, when the taste of the juice seems to be getting lighter, drip another 2 or 3 drops into the atomizer. Some people drip right through the opening in the drip tip (that's where the name "drip tip" comes from). I prefer to take the tip off and drip directly into the atomizer and then replace the drip tip.

If you don't drip more juice into the atomizer when the taste gets weak, you will eventually get a horrible, acrid burning taste. Inhaling it is just brutal. After you do that a few times, you'll pay more attention to re-wetting the atomizer before all the juice burns off.

Repeat as necessary or desired.

Hope this helps.

hahaahaha, thanks for the actual LOL elfstone! I'm such a nerd ;) and, you will get a kick out of this...until just this moment when I went to this post vaping slang I thought the whole "dripping" and "drip tip" think was actually going to drip out the end of the ecig! I thought it was some cool form of vaping. When it actually means dripping the e-liquid INTO the thing! GEEZ.

Pappy, thank you SOOO much for the help too!

let me see what I can get going here...
