Hey Everyone,
I just got my Vamo and well quite frankly it's Mieh! But what I think is killing it for me is that my K-PT (Kanger Protank) has a really tight draw and well that pisses me off like crazy. My EVOd works like a charm although I need to find the sweet spot with the VW setting BUT the K-PT is killing it completely. Anyone have any ideas what may be causing it? Also on another note whats the usually amount of time it takes to charge an 18650 battery? I've read it's about 2-4 hours but I just like to get some input from fellow vapors.
Thanks!

Known issue with some mods and PTs (moreso on PT 1.5, 2's).

Did the PT come with the conical beauty ring?

If so, install it on the Vamo's ego threads, with the conical(wider) side facing up.

Now figure out the minimum amount that you can screw the PT on with it still firing.

Then adjust the ring up until the tank seats against it when it is tightened down just enough to fire.

This should improve the draw, support the tank better, and give you protection against screwing it on too far and risking damage to your connector. It will also help fill the gap left with the tank sitting higher.

What exactly is wrong with your Vamo? For the price ($32 tube only) the S/S Vamo is a bit hard to beat.

The original Protank is known for it's airy draw. The Protank 2 is only a little tighter. Bottom coil devices will flood easily if the draw is too tight. Some of the Protank 2 bases had a problem with no draw if they were screwed on all the way. Try sucking though it while it's not on a the Vamo. The causes of this is a mystery. If the draw is tight off the Vamo then the head may be faulty/blocked.

Sweet spot for all bottom coil devices is about 6.5 watts, as per the card they ship in the box.

Charging time depends on your charger and the capacity of the battery. A true 3000 mAh battery on a 500mA charger would take around 6 hours to charge. A 2000 mAh battery on a 1A charger would only take 2 hours to charge. YMMV.

I had a problem with my protank 2 on my provari with a tight draw, maybe it's the same problem? I had to loosen the protank quite a bit in order to pull a draw, just unscrewed it enough so that it still fired..

Yeah I was doing some testing and seems like thats gonna be the fix.
Thanks for the input!

Why are you blaming the Vamo for a design flaw of the Kanger?

"Dang...I hate this car, it's performance sux because the square tires I put on it!"

Protank is great on my Vamo v5 only thing I use, the evods were meh.....
V5 is just a V2 with V3 guts in it...

Truth in advertising is really askewed
