I'm pretty sure it uses ego threads, so you will need a 510/ego adapter. i think most all of kangers clearo's use the ego threads except the protank. I've seen the adapters on fasttech's site if you're ordering from them (they're the only place i've seen the vamo v3s). Probably for the same ballpark price you could pick one up at smartvapes

just looked up the v3 and yeah, it totally has an ego thread. at least the one i'm looking at does. no adapter needed.

ya know what. your right cyberwolf. they got rid of the ego threads on the new V3. I know that my V2 has them but that was one thing that I didn't like about the V3. and personally I don't know if you can get an adaptor for that

I haven't handled one yet, but the V3 that I've seen in photos does have eGo threads. A photo at Vaportrain shows one with the top ring removed where the threads are clearly visible. Knowing this industry, I would not be surprised if there are different versions...

I guess a lot of you guys don't have the V3. Mine has ego threads and I use Kanger evods every day on them. You do not need an adapter for any ego thread or 510 connection. The new removable drip well is plenty big to allow optimum air flow. And personally I do like the look of the V3 over the V2, it is easier to grip and the OLED display is nicer than my V2. Wife loves hers with the rhinestones, which can be ordered with or without the rhinestones. The look in person on this device is much better than what the pictures show imho. Best. Vape On!

u dont need an adaptor. they have both 510 and ego threads

It's still smart to have an adapter. Because the Evod base screws in below the level of the neck of the Vamo you can't see what you're unscrewing. If the threads get sticky or blocked with a piece of dirt then you could find that you have unscrewed the body of the Evod from its base (and are covered in liquid) rather than unscrewing the Evod from the Vamo. You can see the base on the adapter - problem solved.

That issue is solved with the V3's removable top ring :)

Here's the way I run it with the Protank beauty ring on then put the Vamo top ring on. This takes some stress off the fragile 510 threads of the Protank.
