Just got part of my first order......passthrough not working?

Hi all,

Do you need to charge a passthrough battery before it will work as a passthrough? Does that even make sense? Anyway, it won't work so now I have the battery charging on a normal charger but on the site it says you can use it while it's charging. I got the eGo-T 1000mAh USB Passthrough Battery w/ 5 Click Protection

I tried plugging it directly into the computer and into a USB port but nothing. It lights red on the bottom where you plug it into the battery but no light's come on on the button when you press it, and it doesn't heat my juice.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks,
Michelle

Well I think I figured it out, my original passthrough is something like DSE901 USB Passthrough Battery with no battery that comes apart. I'm new to the 5 click batteries so I think that's what the problem was. It seems to work now that the battery is fully charged and clicked.

Another question (I hope someone replies???)

My juice was "released from customs to Cda Post" on the same day as my hardware.....but there's been no movement since. Anyone know what the hold up could be? I'm almost out of juice and do NOT want to go back to my expensive local person! What are the usual differences in delivery times between hardware and juice?

Thanks,
Michelle

My juice is still not moving.....anyone have this happen before? I'm wondering what timeframe I can expect it?

I ordered on 6 Sept 12
was shipped 7 Sept 12
got to customs in Vancouver 27 Sept 12
released from customs 27 Sept 12
and that's it.....
the second order that had the same timeframes as above arrived 5 Oct 12....

Tim is looking into it for me, I'm just wondering if any has had this occur before?

Thanks!
Michelle

Hi Tim, anything come back from the investigation yet? Did China Post contact Canada Post? It is now 60 days. I have a friend who works for Cda Post here and he inquired with one of their officers and this is the response:

I can see several CRM cases were created and then closed. Inbound item, in this case from China, Domestic Canada Post Customer Service cannot trace these. That’s why the CRM cases are constantly being closed, they should not be opened at all. The sender must contact China Post. They will open a CRM case with Canada Post International. Once China Post asks Canada Post to trace it, a special dept will do the tracing.

The last scan on Sept 27 shows the item was transferred to DOMESTIC, which means technically that Canada Post has it but there is normally a scan on the same day that it’s being processed by CPC, some sort of automated scan when it goes through conveyers and gets scanned. That scan is not there, so it’s possible that Canada Post has not received it.

Either way, it’s up to China Post to open a claim with Canada Post, that’s the only way anything will get done.

I would really like to get my juice or have my order replaced/refunded.
