lower the voltage to about 3.7 - 4.2 and you should be good unless you like it that hot

It doesn't feel that hot, but I think that is because I need the 501 to 501 adapter. Without it it has a really airy draw so if I don't go that high I don't get much throat hit.

So I am guessing there isn't a concern for the tank or the provari running at that voltage?

Using an atomizer I go about 4.5 voltage and that works well.

I ended up cutting down all my dual coil tanks with a pipe cutter to fit a boge I just couldn't get them to wick right at times they where great but most of the times they flooded on me

Hmmm, that would be an idea for me but don't think I am savy enough with this stuff to try that. Also with the voltage I forgot I could check the ohms with the device, not sure why the ohs fluctuate but it reads betwee 2.3 and at times 2.7 on the dual carto, so that show about 9.3 watts.

9.3-9.6 watts is where I usually like to be the ohms meter is pretty handy

Yeah so excited with the new toy I completley forgot about it, so of course I then had to check the ohms on each thing I had. Fortuantely not all of my stuff has come in the mail yet otherwise I would be checking ohms on a lot of things.

Congrats on the provari. I just finished my first 24 hrs of ownership of mine (I got the standard V2) . Of course it is new , it works and the consistent hit to the end of battery cycle is really cool .
Most calculators on line ask for an input of any two values of volts, ohms ,amps or watts and will calculate the others for you .
Knowing the approximate wattage you want , say 9 watts .Type that in , read the ohms from your provari and type that in and calculate. The calculator will than tell you the voltage needed to achieve that wattage. Also , take note of the amperage draw as higher amperage depletes the battery charge faster.
Remember , mah is not the woman who gave birth to you , it is milli-amp hours.

Thank you, I was using the online calculator and didn't even think about typing in the wats and ohms to see what power they suggest/show. It is pretty close to what I was setting so it is good to. Thanks again, plust I don't think I will forget what milli-amp hours is every again, haha.

Never tried the vtube but the Provari minis are really nice. Compact enough to bring around, even with a long barrel atty or carto. They look good with tanks too and they just feel rock solid.

Im new to EDF too and have the same question as Jacob. How long until we can post new threads in other sections?

Thanks all
