Just got the Riva 901... first impression

Well, I've had only 5 hits off it. When I took it all out of the box and put it together, the cartridge I took out of cello wrapper was wet on the outside, so wiped it down. I was expecting empty carts. I have no idea what they are loaded with, but there was 0 flavor, 0 TH, and I'd say medium vapor. I felt a little sting on my tongue, and a little light headed. I ordered some empty carts and will try to figure out how to load them with some liquid I ordered and try that. I need to figure out how to empty and clean the carts that came with it. I would be interested in any comments on this. Thanks.

Did you remember to blow out the atomizer? Blow into one end while holding a paper towel to the other end -- those things usually come packed in a shipping fluid that's pretty gross (but not harmful).

This link has a lot of good videos, hope that helps. I'm not familiar with 901 equipment as I use the 510 type stuff, but for me, if I'm getting stinging or harsh intake it usually means I'm getting on the button too much and getting the air to hot. Hopefully, someone else will pipe in that knows more about your model. If you don't get it sorted post back with questions and I'm sure folks here will have answers for you.

As an update to this, I was looking over the set-up this morning and realized that I was trying the Riva w/o the cart. DUH! What ever I was vaping was whatever they put in the atomizer for shipment I guess. I gotta clean it out then try with a filled cart.
