You actually did mention it, and in a post inquiring about your process, but always good for a reminder, the obvious steps often get overlooked when not mentioned.

The fiber I received looked pretty vapable as is, so I couldn't help but pinch off a tad to try out before the Uber process is complete. Had to rewick the Russian anyways to try out a new juice recipe, and can also make a before and after comparison.

I boiled and rinsed mine 3 more times , once with hp wasn't enough, and it came out pretty good. Wicked up my oddy and I struggled with flooding for most the day and then it smoothed out and was vaping well at the end of the tank. On refill seems to be ok took all day to break in maybe.

Looks like the hemp needs to be a little more dense than what I've been using in the oddy.

Only place I have found that does international shipping is HempTraders. It was going to cost $50 to ship 1kg to NZ so didn't get any. PM me if you find some with cheaper international shipping option

For those new to hemp fiber..

For pipe smokers. Remember breaking in a pipe and getting a good carbon crust in the bowl. Well I am getting lazy and not changing my hemp as often as I used to. Every third filling, I rub a pick brush thru my verticals with a little clean VG to clean the centers out and now have a couple of units with the hemp in their third week. No bad taste yet...

I definitely agree here! I think the hemp wick ages well and improves over time. I'm vaping on a microcoil with an Uber hemp fiber wick that is two weeks old and provides better taste than it did for the first few days after setup. It is still going strong....cotton would have put up the white flag long ago.

So I got my 100% hemp cloth and have been using it as diapers on my carto rebuilds. Pretty nice cloth 36 x 57 inches. They call it hemp linen and it feels and looks like my linen suits. I will be playing with it on other setups and post.

I have got some also, need to get it cleaned. I was thinking of trying a loosely rolled wick in a Taifun GT, similar to mesh just better (hopefully).

I did that on a gennie and it worked as good or better than any other wick, but I just can't stay away from my vertical nanos.

Hey buddies, a small favor…I'm heading out to do some shopping, figured I would buy some oxi clean and finally get to cleaning up the hemp fiber I got from Tibs' co op. I've lost track because I think its been posted in a few different places in a few different forms…can someone direct me to 'the procedure' for cleaning the fiber up?

Also, what form of oxi clean is good for this? I remember seeing many different packages last time I was at Target and just kind of face palmed the whole operation lol
