My thanks to BJ for starting the hemp thread, TIBs for the hemp co-op, Bap for 'uber' cleaning and MikePetro for his fine picture tutorials, and can't forget Shek for the R91 co-op. Finally I got one of the 91% and the time today to set it up.
I tryed hemp a long time back when it 1st hit the scene and didn't like the 'imparted' burnt rope taste it gave my juice. So I tried the new 'uber' cleaning method this time. Overnight soak in Oxyclean, then multiple hours of boil, rinse, boil, rinse. I think It had about 6 hours of boiling the other day while working on putting in a new kitchen floor.
10 wraps of 28g Kanthal for a vertical micro coil came out to 1.5Ωs. Which is right nice for use on a Provari.
Twisted up a small rope of the hemp and wound it around the coil. I didn't use the spacer & long screw and do not seem to have any issue w/ the long negative lead. (Do MAKE SURE your long lead is the neg side of the coil)
Then fill up the chamber with some chopped up and pre-soaked (in PG/VG mix) hemp. The pre-soaking really helped getting the right amount of hemp into the chamber as it's already pre-expanded with juice. My first dozen vapes were 'gurgly' likely because the pre-soaked hemp was quite wet. But that went away.
All in all - I'm quite pleased w/ the Russian and my 1st build and I'm enjoying the hemp for the wick. It was actually easier then setting up a Genny type RBA. I really like the adjustable air control to tweak to just the way I like the draw. And I think it looks good on the mini Provari. Merry Christmas to me.

Vanessa got back to me. 5yd 2mm hemp twine, 1 0z hemp fiber, 6x18in hemp cloth.
I checked out that for you all. It is something i can do. As soon as i can get some fibers and cloth. I will set up a baggie with all three you requested. I will charge $6.95 for the packet. Let everyone know hopefully by february 1st i will have it up. It all depends on if the supplier will have the product available for me by then. Thank you for the request.

Tired of cleaning the Kayfun after every three tanks with the 1.5mm R41 vertical so I redid it with a R41 2mm. Didn't count the wraps. but it turned out to be 1.6 ohms. Seems to be working as good as the smaller dia vertical. Here's hoping it will last a week before it starts to clog.
Was wondering when this bad boy would show up. All I can say if it vapes as good as the original, this will be the clone to have. Judging by the pics though, it is not an exact 1:1 clone. The locking ping for the drip chamber cap is a tab on the clone, where it is a pin on the Authentic. Other than that it looks pretty dang close. Wonder who the cloner was, Tobeco or Hcigar?

I was going to pull the trigger on the aqua clone at 101 vape when I saw it in stock last night, decided to wait until I was sober to figure out of it had juice flow control this morning it was out of stock sore christmas for the horse!

Keep an eye out, I was looking the other day and there were several places that iirc either had some and were a little more money and/or were expecting them soon.
lol I got the last flash-e V2 from white stag for $50 the day before FT came out with them for less than half
But they are offering a pre-order for the aqua, not sure when they are due in but they responded fairly quickly to my questions when I submitted via the contact on their site.
