vaping, while it may soothe the physical craving for nicotine, provide busy-work for the hands, and even produce a reasonable analog of smoke, will NEVER approach the level of satisfaction attained by dropping a live coal from the end of a cigarette onto the upholstery of a new car - now that's true satisfaction.

LOL!
Good one, BoneIdle.

Come to think of it, e-cigs don't enhance my breath odor as well as a real cigarette does either. My wife sez there's something missing when she kisses me, now.
....but she want's to kiss me more often so I guess it ain't a bad thing. It just gets a little distracting at times.

In my 5th week of vaping and I'm still smoking 5 analogs a day down from 40. That's 35 I don't smoke and I consider that excellent progress. I get to monitor the taste of analogs along with my vaping and I can tell you that each one I smoke reinforces the fact that the taste is not what keeps me smoking.

There's still a chemical addiction past the nicotine replacement part. I decide when I switched to ecigs that I wouldn't back my self in a corner this time and try to quit cold turkey. That has been a good thing. I've proven that I can do without 7/8's of my analogs and the 5 I do smoke don't taste good.

I've gotten to the point that my nicotine intake at 24mg is now too high. I am having to limit how often I hit the ecig or I get a little dizzy, my ears ring, and my fingertips get numb. That's another good thing. It tells me that I need to order some doublers and some lower nic juice.

When I smoke an analog, It's almost like that first one that gave you the ringing ears and the buzz. I'm overjoyed that this is happening.

So, I'm looking at which flavors and which doublers to order and step down a notch in my nic level!! I don't want to waste my present stock so I will be ordering some 0 nic juices to mix with 24mg and arrive at the 12mg level next week.

Is Vaping with your morning coffee or after a meal as satisfying as an analog?

I have to say that they are two different experiences. As far as quitting cigarettes goes, I never really replaced that craving until I went high voltage. However in the past after a large meal, I would have an analog and my stomach would settle to the perfect point, I wouldn't feel too full or hungry, however with vaping that hasn't quite been the catalyst to achieve that same comfort. Regardless though, I'm no longer short of breathe, I don't smell like cigarettes, and everything tastes much better. More than a fair trade IMO

The first one in the morning was the one that always got me. Vaping takes a bit longer to get the nicotine going, but in many ways, it's a more pleasant way to wake up. It's gentler. I was tapering down and got to about 3 per day then realized I had to either keep smoking three a day while vaping or decide to completely quit. It was a concious decision for me, I decided not to buy anymore cigarettes and I didn't. It's been eight weeks today.
