Apparently my package came but I am stuck at work so I can not try it out :(
Hope to post a review of it soon after setting it up. Does the pro kit require you charge the battery completely first time?
All of my batteries from SI have come fully charged. Thank Goodness too, because my chain vaping kills a 65 in ~2 hours and it takes three hours to charge the thing. Luckily I have 5 now, so I haven't been in Dead battery town for a few days...

I am sure you will like the Volt equipment, everyone I have offered a test drag to is sorta amazed, SOOOOOOOO superior to anything you can buy in a store.

Good luck, and have fun

Well I just got to sample my volt. I really enjoy it! It makes a little hissing sound when dragging in vapor and right when you let go it makes like a suction noise. Is that normal? The cartridge on this is good, I'm charging the pcc right now. One thing though do you need something on the end of the cartridge? I can see the fillament inside. To refill this later I just drop liquid around the side of it right?

it may be compatible not sure but we cannot warranty the pcc if used with non volt cables.
Yup you are right! Put that back in and it draws much better! Oh and I have a phone charger that takes a mini usb, for my Incredible 2 phone, I should be able to use that to charge the pcc right? It should be 5v or so. If not next time I order liquid I will pick up a wall charger too.

Looks like my desktop will charge the unit even while the computer is off, pretty cool and I already have an adaptor for the car. Now I'm trying to find my favorite flavor. Anyone else get a sore throat? I don't recall sore throat with real cigs except for the first time when I started smoking.

Vaping can dry your mouth and throat, increasing your water intake while your vaping will help your throat.

Yeh I have been drinking coffe, juice, tea, don't really like water. It goes away for a little. Maybe I am doing it wrong. Happens each time I drag, throat just starts burning like I am swallowing nicotine gum. Maybe I will get 12mg cartridges.

Hey there.
You may already know this, but I feel compelled to share this with you anyway...
drinking any beverage with caffeine in it works against hydration. If you drink a small glass of water with a mug of coffee...it's like you didn't drink the water at all. So, if you are drinking a lot of coffee, tea, soda with caffeine, etc...you are actually dehydrating yourself more...then you add the vaping and it's just crazy.

I used to hate water...but now it's all I drink. I drink water constantly. You get used to it.

Also, I discovered that I can't "hit" a PV the same way that I "hit" a cigarette. I usually draw the vapor into my mouth, then inhale it either through my nose (French inhale) or just the normal way. I never draw vapor right into my throat, as I find it to be irritating...especially if the juice is 100% PG.

Good luck, hope you get it all sorted out. :)

That made me smile because I don't like water either and seldom drink it plain. Drinking coffee, iced and hot tea and milk seems to keep me hydrated. If I actually feel thirsty I drink a little water.

I didn't get a burning in my throat when I first started vaping, but I coughed a lot when I took a drag. That lasted for about a week, week and a half and then disappeared. During that time I took shorter drags to keep from coughing. I was using 24mgs of nic then but a couple of months later switched to 18mgs. You could try lowering the nic. Most folks have uncomfortable symptoms when they first start vaping. If the burning in your throat continues after a week or two, get back to us about it and we'll try to figure out if it's something other than the usual 'new vaper' stuff.

If it's a mini USB then just plug it in and don't worry.
These days almost all phone chargers are a 5V switched mode power supply and it usually can deliver up to 1A. On PDA's it goes up to 1,5A and both of those have enough power to charge.

MiniUSB is universal anywhere.

This will be my 2nd week vaping. Soar throat goes a way in a couple of hours I suppose. Its now lunch so I will go outside and vape some more after I eat and see how bad the soreness will get. I will try the holding in the mouth and inhaling a different way. Seems like the 18mg is keeping my cravings really low which is good. I dunno if I will want to lower it as I was used to smoking full flavor marlboro menthol. If I keep getting stomach issues or feeling quesy I'll lower it.

I've been only using Smokeless Image carts nothing else, so I'm not sure about the PG/VG content.

...but the QUALITY of the cable is not...it's OK to use a non-SI wall/car USB charger, but that's probably why they can't warranty it if you use someone else's CABLE.

For charging doesn't matter the power requirements is low. For operating the passthrough you need SI's or some other high quality cable.

That doesn't mean it should be expensive.
