My Blu kit arrived yesterday. I was prepared for the worst, since I've read a lot of negatives here, but I have to honestly say that at least from the point of view of a newbie, I'm quite pleased with it, though granted I've nothing else to compare it to. I've been using the same cartridge since yesterday afternoon (will probably swap it out before I next use it). I am getting very good TH and vapor so far.

As a side note, what I like so far about vaping? I started yesterday at 4pm and was analog-free for the rest of the night. This morning when I woke up, no dry mouth, no dry nose or heavy feeling chest. Two thumbs up for that!

EDIT: I about forgot the shipping... terrible. They use another company it seems to route through to USPS. Because of tracking, I was able to see where my e-cig went in it's 5 day trek here. I'm in Nashville... the thing left Florida, went right on past me to Memphis where it sat for 2 days until tracking was transfered to USPS, and it was here 2 days after that. But I live RIGHT off of 70... it went right by my house on it's way to Memphis (for some unknown reason). Had they just shipped straight USPS, it would've been here about 3 days quicker. Plan ahead with your orders if you decide to keep order carts from them, you'll want to order about a week in advance. For me, I just went to Johnson Creek's site and ordered their e-liquid sampler and it was here in 2 days... I've been using that to refill carts.

That's because that's where "Luci's" warehouse is! Even their websites are identical just changed product names. I have a working theory is those phony review sites that recommend Blu, Luci, etc. are all one company.

I'd recommend sending the blu back as well. I got my blu 2 days ago and it is terrible. I'm really trying to stay away from the analogs until my eGo gets here but the blu just doesn't cut it for me I get almost no TH, and the carts last about 30 drags and then they are done. Not to mention I get like 2 smoke sessions out of a batt. Session defined as my friends smoking an analog.

Once I learned how the Blu wanted to be hit, I did get good vapor and TH but that was only after refilling my carts with my own liquid. I would have kept the kit except for the battery life and the defective USB charger.
The Blu (like all e-cigs) has it's own personality about how to use it as does my 5v 510 pass through have differences from my EGO.:vapor:

I think the blu would be better for someone who is a light smoker, like 5-10 analogs a day. I may self vary between 18 cigs to almost two packs a day, depending on the day, who I'm with etc. The blu just doesn't work for me. I'll be sending mine back on Monday. I ordered an eGo from PS last night, hopefully it will be here soon. In the mean time I'm using the blu, and analogs.

i just got my madvapor 510 in. first hit with that nasty usa blend was too much. i realized i dont vape as much as some of you guys do nor did i smoke as much as some of you used to. i was like 2-3 smokes a night when partying, usally some cherry prime times or whatever marlboro or camel someone had. didnt do much outside of those times. pulled the material out of the carts, dried it out and put some of the caramel creme 0mg in. much gooder. i think the blu will be fine enough for me. glad to hear your reviews. this will get my nicotine fix down quickly while still getting to smoke since its the whole smoking feeling. none of the bad side effecs. vape on everyone! vape on.

the blu came in today. not bad timing. the tracking wouldnt show anything untill it arrived. i was asleep when it came and woke up after the apartments office closed. so i missed out on todays :\ oh well, the madvapes 510 disposable has lasted pretty a pretty long time surprisingly. happy with it. still want to do a battery mod. i want this sucker to last me all day puffing on it like its an oxy tank lol

i ordered a blu as my first pv and fell in love. not so much with the blu itself but more so with vaping in general.

i was a 1 1/2 pack a day smoker for about 15 years. It seemed like a great alternative to real smokes so i tried it. i bought the blu because it was one of the most advertised e cigs i found. I didn't find the forums untill after i received it though so i didn't know all of the other options out there.
the blu was great as an intro to vaping pv. The batteries only lasted about an hour for me but the PCC was nice for out and about. the carts are terrible and dont last as long as they say on the website. I only got 6 or so good hits off a cart before it started running dry which was only half way cause the poly was so terrible and wouldnt wick the fluid. After running through my free 25 sample carts ended up getting a bottle of liquid from johnson creek and started dripping. Man, what a difference, hit so much better with two drops on the bridge. All in all it was an OK experience but after reading the forums i realized there are alot better equipment out there for the same price if not cheaper.

had my blu for about 3 weeks and ended up buying an Altsmoke BB with LR 510 attys. definitely not the cheaper option but the performance is worth it. I freakin love it. the first draw i took blew me away, The vapor was warm!? and lots of it and i could really taste the flavoring of the juice. only problem i had was the LR attys died really fast, from my inexperience i assume letting them run a little dry, but my blu attys came to the rescue while i wait for replacements.

guess im trying to say that a blu is a good introduction to vaping and are very forgiving to a new vaper but not something one would want to keep as a primary device IMO. The carts are terrible, the battery life sucks and with stock liquid, doesn't produce very good vapor. the PCC is cool, the attys last a pretty long time (still using an original from the kit in my BB and working like a champ) and I'm glad i kept the kit as a back up but there is a lot out there that is better.

Wish i would have found this forum earlier. i wouldn't have wasted the $60 on a blu and gone right to a 510, 901 or even a mod as my first pv.

The blu got me hooked and i thank it for that but it will end up collecting dust on my shelf..
