I've been using the tank system all weekend now and I really can't find anything to complain about. Great for beginners and veteran vapors alike. I've got all 5 carts filled with various liquids that I've swapped around many times. I haven't gotten one drop of liquid on my fingers, cono-mizer has not leaked a drop! I'm sure they'll come out with a low resistance version soon, that'll be a great upgrade to an already excellent little system. I don't see the need for cartomizers at all now. I figure that once I get a high voltage bottom feeding box mod, that and the eGo-tank is pretty much all I'll ever need. Not that that will stop me from buying a whole bunch of stuff I don't need, just because I love the craftmanship of e-cigs and basically want one of everything still, lol.

Final question is the lifespan of the cono-mizers. If I can get a few months out one, then I'd call the eGo-tank system a complete winner. And when an LR version comes out, then system will be damn near perfect. No, it won't have the variable voltage, precision regulation, programmable light displays and dripping rates, but for the performance and quality you're getting for the price of an eGo-Tank, it's almost unbeatable.

Thanks wanna be prepared for mine when it comes hopefully Monday. So I can use the tip on the bottle or the syringe w/o the needle correct? Do I need to put the tank on empty first to puncture it or no?

What I dd was take the empty cart and connect it to the cono-mizer to break the membrane and give it a good twist to really open up that hole completely. Then pull it off the conomizer and use the peireced hole to fill the cart. It's very easy. You can pull the cap off if you like, but why bother. And that cap is on pretty damn tight, can be a bit of a struggle getting it off without flinging it across the room.

Put a paper towel over it as you're snapping it off; helps to prevent flinging it to the other side of the room accidentally. :)

Juices I've been vaping on the eGo-Tank

1. Vanilla Carmel Tobacco 50/50 pg/vg blend, 24 mg - Velvet Vapors
2. Vanilla Carmel Tobacco 80/20 pg/vg blend, 24 mg - Velvet Vapors
3. Marburro Red 80/20 pg/vg, 18 mg - Gourmet Vapors
4. 555, 24 mg, Alien Vision Ejuice
5. Boba's Bounty, 24 mg, Alien Vision Ejuice

All have been vaping as good as can be at 3.7V (or is it 3.2V, 3.5V whatever for an eGo battery). I've never tried em at high voltage, but they all taste as good as direct dripping on a standard atty. Yeah, they are a little better on an LR atty, but that'll be coming for the cono-mizer sooner or later.

I ordered two sets of these (2 conomizers and 10 carts) for my wife and I to try out and they arrived today. I use mainly FSUSA e-juice and filled two carts with HopScotch for her and I and following all the instructions in this Thread - very nice.

Then I filled one with my wifes favorite (Applewood) and mine (Wyatt Earp) and my gosh! The clouds of vape and flavor were fantastic! Taking nice, slow draws is best and as stated, if the flavor drops off taking two or three sharp puffs with your finger off the button restores the full flavor.

I like the idea of being able to pull the cart off and seeing how much juice is left in it. And yeah, if the conomizer's last a reasonable amount of time these things are going to be the only way to go! I like 'em!

hi all

i have had it for 2 days. and i have leaking problems.....when ever it's laying on it's sides not behing used, it leaks..enough to drain all of the liquid...this gets me pretty .......... i think the liquid is PG (came with the unit) mayby going 70% PG and 30% VG will fix the problem...

if anyone has a solution pls let me know, cause so far , i am not impressed

Wow, sucks that's happenning. I'd try a slightly higher VG ratio juice. But even with a pure PG juice, I've had no leaking. And it really shouldn't ever leak because it doesn't work on a gravity fed system, it's more of a suction action trigger. If you have a full cart that's already been peirced and you pull it off the conomizer and hold it with the open hole side down, it should not drip out, even with a mild shake. Now if you start whipping the thing up and down, ya, juice is going to leak out. But it should only be the suction action that draws the drops out, not gravity dripping the juice out. That's been my experiece anyway.

Speaking of my experience with the eGo-T.. I've using it for about 6 days now and no real complaints. I'm just anxious for a LR version because my favorite juice simply tastes better at LR, but that's not a detraction from the eGo-T performance. It's working just as well as it did on day one. The performance is very very consistent. And again, just a few quick, hard draws with the battery off always brings the taste back if it starts to drop off a bit.

Watch Darth Vapor's (cozzcon) videos on you tube regarding the eGo-T. I got a lot of my tips from there and he's absolutely in love with it.

I just got mine in from Totally Wicked today. I AM IN LOVE. I went back to smoking for awhile after getting tired of carts and dripping and failed experiments with juice boxes. This thing is amazing. (Once I figured out I wasn't pushing the tank in far enough) Great flavor, almost as much vapor as a HV or LR atomizer or mod. I have a nic high from experimenting with carts!

This may finally be the thing that does it!

I have 510s, KR808s, Joye 306, 801, Silver Bullet, Black Beauty, VP-1, VP-PT, BB-PT and two Juice boxes. This wins hands down.

The fix (I hope!?!?): the issue seems to be the seal between the atty and the mouthpiece/cart seal area. I had so much juice leaking out that it was all over the battery and pooling under it when laid on the table (LOTS of leakage). We took out the cart, made sure that there we're no extra pieces of plastic at the seal area of the cart (it is pushed in when pierced by the atty, but apparently that is an imperfect process). So make sure the hole is clear before placing it again on the atty. So far, at least for the remaining juice in my cart, no leaks. I hope that will help someone.

So far, I too am completely in love with these tanks. I have not had any leaking issues myself. Using my Riva batteries with a pair of eGo-T atties has been vaping bliss for me.

I have vaped 70/30, 80/20, 50/50 through these with no issues. I see a good amount of people saying the flavor is muted, but they all taste great to me. Actually my BWB Strawberry tastes better through a tank than it did dripping onto a standard 510 atty. *shrug*

I'd be curious to know if it's only certain flavors that seem muted on the Tank system. For example, I know that my Wyatt Earp is especially flavorful from a cartomizer, but just ok when I use it for dripping. I suppose in a tank it'll taste like it does when I drip it.

I've been using my tornado tank for 5 days now. I am really enjoying it compared to my old carts. The battery lasts me an entire 12 hour shift and unless it's a really hectic day, a full 1ml tank does as well. For the crazy days, I keep a bottle of BWB 555 in my locker just in case I run low of juice. It's a great system, will be interested in time to see how long the atomizers and batteries last.

I agree with you on that.

Seems that my all-day vape's flavor is muted on the eGo tank, but is wonderful when dripping or on a map tank.

Definitely flavor and viscosity are the variables to tank happiness.

Dry rubbed or sauce smothered ribs?

On another note, maybe some of you experienced vapers can check my knowledge here before I buy the wrong thing...I am using the Tornado and want to try the Tank system. I know I would need to buy the Tank Cartridges, but what additional hardware is needed to allow the Tornado to accept the Tank? Do I need a different Atty? Do I need a different battery kit? It is a little confusing because I know the 510 components are compatable with the Tornado, but I am not so sure about the tank system.

I may have missed it but has anyone used the tank system with Low Resistance atomizers yet?

The tank system consists of:
- atty
- cartridge

So, you would need:
- tank atty
- tank cartridge

You can get it all matching with your Tornado and buy from TotallyWicked. (Downside with TW's tank atty's are that not all the devil logos will align with your battery button).

Or, select other suppliers to match your battery color.

The tank system includes it's own type of atomizer, so you have to have that and the empty tanks for it to work. And they haven't come out with a LR atomizer for it yet. It should be compatible with the Tornado....but you can't use the tanks on any atomizer except the tank. So....battery okay; you have to have a different atty.

Along those same lines, what I did was take one of the silcone end pieces, cut it so it was a small, 1/4" ring and slipped it over the tank while connected to the atomizer and sealed the connection between the tank and the atomizer. This tightenned up the draw quite a bit, but made the wicking action much better. I find myself getting much fewer dry hitting and the wicking action seems much better, especially on the higher % VG juices. Give it a shot.

My tank is on the way and should be here in a few days.

I've read the posts about leaking and I wonder if the initial piercing is the problem. Is it possible to rotate the cartridge as you slowly press it into the tank-omizer? That would scribe a perfect circle as opposed to just pushing and maybe getting a bad cut.
