Subject: E-Cigs are healthier than your FDA approved Lung Cancer

body: Why would you guys want to ban a great device like the e-cigarette..

You guys APPROVE tobacco products that KILL people yet you do not want to approve a safer way to smoke.

You just want TAX MONEY from us, thank god i stopped smoking because of my ecig.

Maybe you should regulate ecig and put tax on it instead of looking like an idoit wanting to stop something that can help people

5 days into the ecig and i got my sense of taste back..

This is just pathetic....

I think we would all like you to write to the FDA. But if you want your letter to be taken seriously, you have to be a bit more respectful and more aware of the facts. The FDA did not approve cigarettes and they do not tax anything. I'm sure there are lots of things they can be accused of, but not those two things. :)

If you want to write to them and let them know that you have been able to quite smoking because of e-cigs that would be great! We need everyone to participate, we just all need to do it respectfully.

I prefer to say that I "switched" from tobacco cigarettes to electronic cigarettes (when addressing the FDA or ALA or any of those guys) for two reasons:

1. Saying that I "quit" smoking sounds too much like I'm all better now. They need to know that if e-cigs are banned I will return to tobacco cigarettes.

2. Saying I "quit" also sounds too much like I'm using a NRT, which opens up the FDA to demanding clinical pharmaceutical trials (like all NRT's must undergo)
