Just spent a weekend in Vegas...

Smoke everywhere, and still I can't imagine smoking a cigarette. I'm not gonna lie, I thought about buying a pack just to join the smokers. But I bought 30mL of 6mg instead, and stuck to it. Couldn't have been happier. Ugh imagine how pretty the casinos would smell if everybody was using strawberries & cream, vanilla custard, honeydew & cantaloupe! Unfortunately, it was just me vaping away like a maniac. But I had several people compliment the smell of my Cuttwood Monster Melon... And nobody hassled me whatsoever, aside from a couple of curious glances. (And compliments from a fellow vaper at the airport - a local - who suggested I check out something called "Pink Spot" - at least I assume he was talking e-juice...)

Anybody here want want to share a Vegas vape story? I mean, if it's something that can leave Vegas....

That is so great to hear and so glad you had a fantastic time. Never been there but would love to one day if I ever decide to leave my recliner. You know since I stopped smoking, I have apologized to just about every one I ever smoked around. I honestly didn't know it smelled as bad as it did. It is nice to have people say my vape smells good. Not once did I hear someone say my cigarette smelled delicious.

Went to a convention there two years ago. A weirdo grabbed my mod and pretended to take a hit. He didn't speak English, and was trying to convince me to play a certain slot machine, or let him play with my money. Nope.

Then I went to grab some food at a restaurant that was on the side of the casino, open face and everything. Guy said I can't vape in there, but if I stood two steps back I could.

Couldn't do it in the rooms that the convention were being held in either, but I stealthed and got away with it.

Crazy place. Not my first time there, but the first time I went since I started vaping anyway.

Once, when entering a shopping mall, a woman complimented me on my aftershave. Didn't have the heart to tell her I don't wear aftershave! LOL!

Been there many times, have friends there and we're hopefully
moving to within a couple of hours there within the next few years.
I haven't been back yet as a vaperor, but was in Reno a year
and a half ago. In a casino there were people that kept offering
me a light for my electronic cig, hahaha. They were so confused.
I am weird I don't mind being around smokers, love the smell
and don't have the urge to smoke. All their smoke coming at
me makes me smell like them so I get all the secondhand stuff,
plus get my nicotine with my vape, it's all good.

Thats funny. I live in Reno basically a worse smaller version of Vegas and I see plenty of people vaping when I go out here!

Haha that is a very funny story. A series of very funny stories! I've had drunk people grab me in bars before asking for a pull, but, being in California, most of the time they think I have something... Other than e juice in my rig. Nope! Nobody has ever been disappointed though, strangely... But going for your money to play your own game? Yeesh it's bad enough to grab somebody's mod, trying for their pockets is just not cool!

This was my second trip to Vegas as an ex-smoker-turned-vaper. Last time I had the mod, RBA, wire, tweezers, ohm meter, cotton balls and rolls of silica... TSA must have thought I was trying to take the place down! But this time it was just tanks and coils, made life MUCH easier.

Yeah I only spent 5 days there, and had the foresight to pick up a visioin spinner and smok winder off the classies and picked up 2 evods from DV. I wasn't about to take my expensive stuff to Vegas of all places. No way. I would rather lose or have stolen a $30 setup. That wouldn't have hurt if it happened. The evods worked well enough, definitely not cloud or flavor chasers but they sufficed for the duration. Sure was happy to come home to my good gear though!

I payed the egos and evods forward to friends, too. Can't have a story without a happy ending.

I've always had trouble with TSA in Vegas and they won't be happy until
I fly naked. So I can't imagine what is going to happen when I take
gear...but will definitely stick with cheap spinners and tanks, not going
to risk it.

No problems here - I figure that with all the questionable gear and straight debauchery they've seen come through the gates, some vape gear is the least of their problems! I did see a guy hitting a vamo in the smoking lounge. They even had e juice for sale past security in the smoking slots, alongside some Blu disposables and, of course, the expected packs of smokes. No juice I'd buy personally on a whim (haven't I paid this city enough ready?! Lol...) but cool that it's there.
