Just started, advice on future device?

I've just got myself an eGo-T and I'm loving it, none of that minging after taste of a ...! I find that my battery lasts me all day but at some point I want to upgrade to a better device and tank to maximise the flavour and vapour.

My friend has an 'innokin MVP' unsure which model with a 'Kanger' subtank. On eBay ive found the same combination for around £40. Would this be the one to get? He gets a lot of vapour and his flavours are better than my ....ty starter pen

Also, can I trust eBay not to send me a fake product?

Kanger subox kit or maybe the mvp 3 pro starter kit. I personally prefer subox due using your own batteries to switch them out as needed.
downside to that though is that you need to buy a good charger such as nitecore or xtar and a pair of good batteries.

But the subox kit "has it all" (mouth to lung experience, cloud chasing experience, rebuild your own coil experience when you wanna try that) except for the batteries.

Edit: Also try avoid ebay vaping related stuff. To much scams / counterfeits going on there.
Better look through the reliable online vendors.

Hello @webber5593. I wouldn't trust ebay either, too many clones out there. You could try searching here :

UK
UK Forum | E-Cigarette Forum
UK and Ireland Suppliers | E-Cigarette Forum
COUPONS - Stores - ECF E-Cigarette Coupons

I would consider the Kanger Subbox for you if you liked his Subtank. You can purchase the factory OCC coils and not have to get into rebuilding at this point. Gives you a chance to walk before you run. With the Subbox you'll have to purchase separate 18650 batteries and "should" get a separate battery charger. (That way you're not tethered to it while it recharges, just swap out batteries).

Baditude is the battery guru on ECF and he recommends these :

Baditudes Blogs Baditude's blog | E-Cigarette Forum

RECOMMENDED BATTERIES
1. Orbtronic SX30 2100mah 30A
2. Sony VTC4 or VCT5 2100mah 30A
3. Xtar 2100mah 30A (re-wrapped Sony VTC4)

1. AW 1600mah 24A
2. Orbtronic SX22 2000mah 22A
3. LG HE2/HE4 2500mah 20A
4. Samsung 25R 2500mah 20A
5. AW 2200mah 20A (new)

Good luck in your journey.

definitely worth checking out the kanger subox setup - vaping on one right now and loving it :) good flavor, nice cloud - great little setup... I think it gets a bit of a complex sitting next to my sigelei 100w+ with the freemax starre tank, though, lol

all kidding aside, the subox kit is an excellent setup - would definitely recommend, even in light of some of the reservations I have seen voiced about it having a fixed pin in the 510 connection

The MVP series is a physically well made and they have a very good reputation. As you read the "What's New" posts each day you will get to know the mods that have more troubles. Like any hobby, reading will lead you in the right direction for you.

For me, and others, we have spares. We have spares for our spares. If I had only one mod and it broke, got lost or stolen I might be tempted to buy a pack of cigs. Consider a spare. Actually, whom now. when I "step-up", my previous becomes my back-up.

Most ejuice needs to be steeped so that the ingredients meld. Kinda like wine. So, I, buy juice today for a month from now. I buy in groups. I have the group that I am currently vaping and I have a group that is almost done steeping and I have a group that is just starting to steep. Their are some variables but letting juice steep is common.

Happy vaping!!

Where are you?

If you are UK (?) then I would recommend shopping at a good online store.

This doesn't mean googling your way to the biggest hype-merchants out there. Your friend won't have the MVP version 2, as that does not power subtanks. If you like the look of Innokin mods then either go for the coolfire IV or the "big" MVP version 3 (or "pro")

If you buy on ebay, look up the vendor and try to find some outside info on the company. See if they are an actual vape shop. Make sure the have a proper storefront type of business, not just some dude in Crackville selling cheap Chinese knockoffs out of his mom's basement. I have bought stuff there and had good results this way. But you can usually find better deals at the shops recommended on this site.
